How to Use This Extension Cable

  1. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before you begin.

  3. Strip a small amount (2-3 mm) of insulation from the end of each inner wire.
  4. Prepare the connection points on your LED strip or other cable by adding a small amount of solder (tinning).
  5. Solder each wire to its corresponding pad on the LED strip (e.g., V+ to V+, R to R, G to G, B to B, WW to WW, CW to CW). Double-check the order as it can vary between strip models.
  6. For a secure and insulated connection, slide a piece of heat-shrink tubing over each wire before soldering, then heat it to shrink it over the completed joint.
