An uplighting led cove light profile fixed to the edge of the recessed ceiling for 12.5mm ply that sits flush with the coved ceiling to provide a neat appearance. Expanding the ceiling laminate away from the wall by a further 34mm (1.34in) will increase the coverage of the strip lighting. LED strips up to 10mm wide are mounted inside the profile and the light is directed upwards to the ceiling and then reflected downwards through the gap at the edge of the ceiling, creating an indirect bay lighting effect. This indirect ceiling bay lighting with a hidden light source reduces the possibility of direct eye contact with bright light and provides a more comfortable light environment.
LED Strip Cove Lighting Aluminum Profile Specifically for Recessed Ceilings
Made of 6063-T5 high-quality aluminum alloy, provides additional heatsinking and mechanical protection for the led light strip (sold separately)
Consisting of two parts, the mounting channel and the light body
Highlight the architectural structure of the recessed ceiling and enhance the three-dimensionality and design of the space
Fixed directly to the internal laminate of recessed ceilings
If you want to hide the led strip profile completely inside the recessed ceiling, please check out model 5405 in the same series; Not satisfied with the cove ceiling type of uplighting, check out model 5405C in the same series, which allows you to uplight the ceiling or hit the wall sideways.
Note: As the 2m led aluminum profiles are too light and long, the package size will exceed the DHL/UPS/TNT requirement (4feet), so extra long transportation costs will be required if your 2M 5405B order is less than 10 pieces.
