Check this new Motion Sensor Switch for your stair lighting application, if you need a more precise sensing method and think other plastic motion sensors are not suitable for you.
With an aluminum alloy appearance, its induction range is a straight line, and the induction distance of this straight line can be adjusted according to the width of your staircase or your preference.
After installing the LED stair lighting control system, turn on the power, press and hold this PIR sensor for 5 seconds, at which time the stair light will turn on and the sensor will automatically measure the straight-line sensing distance (the induction distance generally within 2.5m/8.2ft).
Thread design, this Induction Distance Adjustable Motion Sensor Switch is recessed to the wooden staircase.
Please note that the extension wire in the option is 5m/16.4ft long per piece.
How to Reset the Sensing Distance?
The factory default distance of the laser motion sensor is 150CM (4.92ft), after receiving the controller energized, the sensor will be triggered within 150CM (4.92ft) at this time. Reset the sensing distance operation as follows.
1. Place a baffle plate at the location where you need to set the sensing distance, if there is a glass or wall on the opposite side of the distance within 150CM (4.92ft), you don't need to put a baffle plate.
2. Use your hand to block the sensor within 5CM (2in) from the sensor, you can directly stick to the sensor, wait for 5 seconds, the sensor will enter the automatic distance measurement state.
3. Remove your hand and wait for 5 seconds, the sensor automatically ranging success, then remove the baffle.
Warm tips:
Within 5CM (2") from the sensor is a blind spot. If there are objects or the human body is less than 5CM (2") from the sensor, stay more than 5 seconds the sensor will enter the automatic ranging state. In addition, you can judge its state by the blue indicator light, if the indicator light flashes that the sensor into the automatic ranging state; if the blue indicator light is always on, it means that the sensor is triggered normally.
Note:
1) Black stairwells may have some effect on this sensing method.
2) This aluminum PIR adjustable motion sensor switch cannot be used with ES32 and other stair light controllers, it is only compatible with CT3252 controller.
