The SR-2100AMP-RDM-8CH is an 8 way DMX splitter designed to extend the transmission distance of DMX signals (up to 300m) and the number of devices (up to 32 devices per output, total 256 devices), greatly enhancing system coverage.
This 3/5 pin DMX splitter is compatible with standard DMX512 signals and RDM protocols (compliant with ANSI E1.20 standard). This DMX 512 splitter supports bi-directional communication for discovery, addressing and DMX control of RDM-enabled devices for remote device management.
As a plug-and-play device, the DMX RDM splitter comes with 3/5-pin XLR male connectors for DMX inputs and eight XLR female connectors for DMX outputs, simplifying installation and use. In order to help prevent signal interference and provide signal stability, eight outputs are fully separated from the input and not isolated from one another.
LED data indicators are installed in each output channel to show the data transmission status graphically. The DMX signal splitter features a thru-put XLR female connector on the input, enabling it to be integrated mid-chain in existing DMX setups for easy system expansion.
