In precise length lighting applications, it is necessary to cut the COB strip to the proper size. This 3 pin cable connector is designed to make it easy to attach fittings to your cut COB light strip to quickly establish an electrical connection. On one side is a connector to connect to the 3 wires COB led strip and on the other side is a 3-pin JST SM male connector. With this 3 pin cable connector plug, you can quickly attach custom COB strips to other strips or controllers.The 3-pin JST plug is common in addressable led tape lighting applications.
Cut the 8mm/10mm/12mm 3-pin cob led strip light along the cut line, insert the cut strip into the PCB portion of the connector, let the solder joints align with the copper tabs, use pliers to press down the 3 copper tabs firmly to make them pierce the insulated cables and the PCB board, then you can connect it to other JST female connector quickly.
