How to Install & Use This LED Module String

  1. Plan Layout: Arrange the module string in the desired location to confirm fit and spacing before peeling the adhesive backing.
  2. Connect Power & Controller: Connect the 4-pin input connector (not include) of the module string to a compatible 12V RGB LED controller. Connect the controller to a certified UL-listed 12V power supply.
  3. Test Functionality: Power on the system to test the modules. Cycle through colors (Red, Green, Blue, White) to ensure all LEDs are working correctly before final installation.
  4. Mount the Modules: Peel the protective film from the 3M adhesive backing on each module. Firmly press each module onto the prepared surface for at least 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
  5. Extend Strings (Optional): To connect multiple strings, simply plug the male connector of the next string into the female connector of the previous one. Ensure your power supply and controller can handle the total load.
⚠ Precautions
  • Ensure your 12V DC power supply wattage is at least 20% greater than the total wattage of all connected module strings.
  • Do not connect more 12V RGB strings in series than recommended (2-3 strings) to avoid voltage drop and color inconsistency.
  • The IP65 rating is for the modules and wires only. Connections must be properly waterproofed with silicone or heat shrink for outdoor use.
  • Do not operate the modules in a tightly enclosed, unventilated space to prevent heat buildup.
