The WS2814F-RGBW-120W8 is an ultra-compact addressable RGBW LED strip engineered with a narrow 8mm white PCB and an IP20 profile height of only 2.2mm. Utilizing tightly spaced 4040 SMD 4-in-1 LED packages at 120 diodes per meter, this digital RGBW LED strip delivers vivid pixel-chasing dynamic scenes alongside true, dedicated white illumination. Designed for architectural millwork, cabinet reveals, and miniature fixtures, it easily threads inside slim silicone neon sleeves and narrow mounting extrusions. With a compatible WIFI controller, the LED strip connects directly to smartphone apps and smart home automation platforms.

How to Install & Use This LED Strip

  1. Select the correct constant voltage power supply matched to your chosen strip: 12V DC for the 7.5W/m model, or 24V DC for the 15W/m model.
  2. If trimming to length, cut only across the marked solder pads located every 100mm (12 LEDs). Never slice through intermediate traces between cut lines.
  3. Link the 3-wire harness to your addressable pixel hardware: connect V+ to DC positive, GND to common ground, and DIN to the data output pin of your controller.
  4. Configure your controller software (such as WLED, LEDHue, or BanlanX) by setting the IC chip type to WS2814F and selecting the WRGB color order to match your chosen white point.

⚠ Precautions

  • Never connect a 12V LED strip to a 24V power supply, as the overvoltage condition will permanently damage the WS2814F IC chips and LED packages.
  • For IP65, IP67, and IP68 outdoor installations, seal all cut ends, wire joints, and end caps with neutral-cure electronic grade silicone sealant before outdoor exposure.
