Interface description
Direction for use:
1. DMX address code settings
Each DMX decoder occupied 3 DMX addresses, and adopts a coding switch set address, it is a Binary numerical code switch that is setting DMX original address code from 1 to 9, 1 is the lowest, and 9 is the highest, 511 address codes could be set in all. DMX original address code equals the aggregate value of the coding switch value from 1 to 9, dial the coding switch upwards (ON is set 1), and the value of bit can be gotten, on the contrary, the value of the bit is 0.
DMX signal can be received when coding switch FUN(10)=OFF(ON is set 0).
2. Testing function
The tenth bit of the coding switch is “FUN”, which is a built-in function button. FUN=OFF shows the DMX decoder function, and DMX signals can be received.
3. Dynamic effect speed selection
When testing capabilities, switch is 6=ON all the 4 channels strobe effect, switch 7=ON Four-colors jump back and forth effect, when the switch 8=ON Four-channels increase and decrease jump back and forth effect, switch is 9=ON Four-colors gradient effect, every effect has 6 gears of choice:
Switch1-5=OFF:0steps
Switch1=ON:1 steps
Switch2=ON:2 steps
Switch3=ON:3 steps
Switch4=ON:4 steps
Switch5=ON:5 steps(the greatest speed)
When multiple switches are ON, the larger switch shall prevail. When all the dial switches=ON, the decoder speed: the mode speed is 5.
Typical Applications:
Matters needing attention
1. Connect the load line first, and then the power line; make sure there is no short circuit between the input and output connecting lines before powering on.
2. The power supply voltage range of the controller is DC12 to 24V. If the voltage range is exceeded, the decoder may be damaged.
