How to Use This Connector

Ensure the power to your LED strip is completely turned off.
Use scissors to cut your LED strip light cleanly along the designated copper cut lines.
Gently open the hinged plastic clasp on both sides of the Hippo Buckle connector.
Carefully slide the end of one LED strip segment under the metal contact prongs inside the connector. Ensure the copper pads on the strip are directly under the prongs.
Check that the polarity markings (+ and -) on the strip align with the corresponding side of the connector.
Press the plastic clasp down firmly until you hear it click shut, securing the strip in place.
Repeat the process for the second LED strip segment on the other side of the connector.
Place the connected strips into your aluminum channel and test the connection before installing the diffuser.

⚠ Precautions

This connector is designed for use with non-waterproof (IP20/IP33) LED strips only.
Always double-check that the polarity (+ to +) is correctly aligned before closing the clasps to avoid damaging your LEDs.
This is a low-voltage DC connector. Do not use with high-voltage AC strips.
Designed for a secure, semi-permanent connection. Avoid repeatedly opening and closing the clasps as this may reduce their grip strength.
