Technical Specifications

This is an LED starry sky fiber optic light machine with integrated meteor and twinkling effects. The power input end has an AC plug, DC head, or car cigarette lighter adapter to suit different locations for starry sky applications, with a DC12V output. Through the built-in flickering disc, the light source machine can create a flickering effect with the fiber optics. This effect simulates the flickering of stars, adding a dynamic visual effect. Equipped with a remote control or mobile app, users can adjust the color, brightness, flickering speed, and meteor effects of the light using these tools.

  • Music-activated voice control, with lights changing in time with the music

  • 13 static lighting effects and 10 dynamic lighting effects

How to Install a Fiber Optic Star Ceiling in Your Car

1. Remove the Headliner - Carefully detach the vehicle's headliner from the roof, ensuring not to damage any clips or components.

2. Plan Layout & Punch Holes - Design your desired star pattern on the backside of the headliner. Use a pen to mark points, spacing them 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) apart for optimal density. Then, use a fine drill bit or needle to create clean holes.

3. Thread the Fiber Optics - Insert individual fiber strands through each hole from the backside. Leave excess length (e.g., 10-15 cm) protruding from the surface to allow for final trimming later.

4. Bundle and Manage Fibers - Organize the fibers into small, neat groups on the roof side. Secure each bundle temporarily with electrical tape to prevent tangling during installation.

5. Secure the Fibers - Permanently affix the fiber bundles to the vehicle's roof structure using strong adhesive such as silicone sealant, epoxy glue, or hot glue. Avoid blocking any existing wiring or mechanisms.

6. Apply Heat Insulation - Adhere a layer of heat-resistant foam or automotive felt between the headliner and the metal roof. This critical step protects the fibers and light engine from excessive heat, which can degrade performance and lifespan.

7. Trim the Fibers - Once the headliner is reinstalled, trim the protruding fibers flush with the surface using diagonal cutters for a clean, seamless finish.

8. Connect to Power - Finally, wire the fiber optic light engine to a 12V power source (e.g., the vehicle's fuse box or an accessory circuit), ensuring all connections are secure and insulated.

Pro Tip: Always test the entire system before fully reassembling the headliner to ensure all stars light up correctly and the meteor effect functions as intended.
