The linear pendant light featuring a 10-degree narrow beam diffuser has shifted its core design purpose from basic ambient or flood lighting to highly precise visual guidance and functional accentuation. It serves as a specialized tool crafted for specific scenarios and sophisticated lighting requirements. A 10-degree beam angle falls within the category of extremely narrow “narrow beam” lighting. The diffuser optically shapes and evens out the light emitted by the LED strip, creating a dramatic and sophisticated spatial ambiance.
The QSG-2530E profile features a compact cross-section of 25mm (width) x 29.7mm (height), offering a minimalist visual presence with a balanced blend of lightweight and robust anodized aluminum construction. Its layered design positions the LED strip installation close to the optical diffuser. This effectively minimizes light absorption, scattering, and unnecessary loss within the profile cavity, enabling more efficient extraction and utilization of the light source's original luminous flux.
To achieve the theoretically perfect 10-degree illumination performance, the luminaire's internal LED configuration is critical. Although the profile's 23mm internal width accommodates multiple installation methods, pairing it with a single row of 2835, 3528, 2110 high-density LED strips is strongly recommended for purity and consistency of the light pattern. Using dual-row or wide light strips causes light to cross and overlap at the narrow exit point, resulting in blurred beam edges and a wider angle that compromises the intended precise optical effect.
Connectors are available to enable seamless long-distance runs and 90-degree corner installations.
