This is a 24V free cut LED neon flex engineered specifically for seamless cabinet lighting and millwork integration. Featuring a 16×16mm square profile with a top-emitting silicone diffuser, this flexible fixture houses 120 LEDs/m SMD2835 chips that yield a uniform, dotless 3000K warm white glow without visible hot spots. 

Unlike traditional neon flex that restricts trimming to fixed cut intervals, this fixture features a continuous surface metal conductor layer on the LED PCB that allows cutting at any arbitrary point along the run. Installers achieve clean, solderless electrical joints using surface-contact push connectors without stripping wire or soldering on-site. 

Pair this linear luminaire with dedicated LED neon flex accessories for mounting channels and end caps, an external DC24V regulated power supply, and integrate automated switching through our lighting sensor controllers for responsive under-cabinet and furniture illumination.

How to Install and Wire Free Cut LED Neon Flex

  1. Plan your run length and confirm the 24V power supply wattage based on the total meters of neon flex used.
  2. Cut the LED neon flex to your exact required length using sharp shears or a utility blade perpendicular to the silicone casing.
  3. Slide the specialized solderless surface connector over the cut end, ensuring the connector internal metal pins firmly contact the outer conductive tracks of the neon flex.
  4. Clamp or snap the connector lock shut until fully seated, then check electrical continuity using a 24V DC test source.

⚠ Precautions

  • Do not twist the neon body axially or bend in the horizontal plane; bend only along the vertical plane with a minimum radius of 50mm.
  • Disconnect power before performing any cutting, trimming, or connector installation.
  • Seal both terminal ends and connectors with neutral silicone sealant before placing in moist, steamy, or outdoor environments.
