Single Color LED Strip Light Kits
14 productsA single color LED strip light kit is the fastest way to get a project running. You can choose one specific white—like warm white (3000K) for a cozy living room or cool white (6000K) for task lighting—and that's it. There are no complex controllers or color mixing. This direct approach makes them incredibly reliable and cost-effective, perfect for under-cabinet lighting, accent coves, and display cases where you just need clean, consistent light.
The whole point of a kit is that we've done the compatibility work for you. Each one of these LED light strip kits includes the LED strip itself, a power supply correctly rated for its voltage and length, and the necessary connectors. You don't have to calculate wattage or worry about matching a dimmer to a driver. Whether you need a simple plug-in set or one with a built-in sensor, you're getting a complete, tested system straight out of the box.

What Are the Different Control and Dimming Options?
While the light color is fixed, you still have plenty of control over brightness and operation. Our LED kits feature several types:
-
Knob Dimmers: A classic rotary knob that gives you smooth, stepless dimming from 0 to 100%. Simple, reliable, and intuitive.
-
Touch Dimmers: A sleek, modern option. A quick tap turns the light on or off, while a long press ramps the brightness up or down.
-
Motion/Body Induction Sensors: Perfect for automated lighting in closets, pantries, or stairways. The light switches on when it detects movement and turns off after a set period of inactivity.
What truly sets SuperLightingLED apart is our end-to-end customization capability. We specialize in engineering fully tailored single-color LED strip light kits customized to the exact demands of your project. From precise PCB cut lengths and custom wiring leads to specialized voltage inputs, color temperatures, and IP-rated protective housings, we build turnkey lighting solutions that eliminate guesswork and drastically reduce on-site installation time.
Frequently Asked Questions About Single Color LED Strip Light Kits
Got questions before you buy? I've been answering them for 12 years. Here are the most common things people ask about our single color kits.
Think about the feeling of the room. Warm White (2700K-3000K) is cozy and yellow-ish, like a classic incandescent bulb, great for living rooms or bedrooms. Natural White (4000K-4500K) is a neutral, clean light, perfect for kitchen tasks and bathrooms where you need to see colors accurately. Cool White (5000K-6500K) is crisp and slightly blue, like daylight, often used in garages, workshops, or for very modern designs. You can read more in our guide to light colors.
It's one of the easier DIY projects because these kits are plug-and-play. You don't need to be an electrician. The main job is planning where the wires will run to be hidden. You'll stick the strip up, plug the controller into the strip, and plug the power supply into the controller and the wall. The hardest part is usually just drilling a small hole or two between cabinets to pass the wire for a clean look.
Absolutely. That's what they're designed for. Look for the cut marks, which are usually a little scissor icon right across a set of copper pads. You have to cut on that line. If you need to rejoin pieces or go around a corner, you can use solderless 2-pin connectors to link them back up without any special tools.
You can't just plug one kit into the end of another. The power supply in each kit is specifically sized for one 16.4ft strip. Trying to power two strips from one small power supply will overload it, causing it to overheat and fail, and your lights will be very dim. To do a longer run, you need a single, larger power supply and must wire both strips back to it in parallel.
The best dimmer switch for these dimmable LED kits is always the one that's included. Whether it's a small remote, a touch sensor, or a knob, it has been tested to work perfectly with the power supply and the LED strip. Using a third-party single color dimmer can work, but it can also introduce problems like flickering if the PWM frequencies don't align, so it's best to stick with the matched set.
Yes, we build custom single color LED strip kits like that every day. A huge amount of what we ship is built to a customer's drawing. Just send us a sketch—even a photo of a hand-drawn diagram is fine—with the lengths you need for each shelf and the wire lengths between them. An engineer here will spec out the right components, create a wiring diagram, and send you a parts list with a quote, usually the same business day. There's no fee or obligation for the design service.
