Magnetic LED Spot & Linear Spotlight Tracking Lighting

The Ceiling Magnetic Track Lighting System combines different magnetic LED fixtures in the same lighting system via tracks. These tracking spotlight magnetic LED lights are compatible with CCT adjustable white lights and RGB+CCT full color lights, and the control of these LED track light spotlights is achieved by means of wireless remote control. For Zigbee track spotlight fixtures, a Zigbee gateway is required to integrate them into smart home system via APP and voice speaker.

Providing track lighting spotlights with different LED beam angles, including 60 degrees, 36 degrees, 30 degrees and 24 degrees, whether it is an area that needs to be widely illuminated or a specific point that needs to be focused, you can find the right fixtures for your track system.

Spot spotlights are good for focused lighting, while linear spotlights are good for providing even angled flood lighting. This versatility allows magnetic track lighting systems to be adapted to a wide variety of spaces and lighting needs.

FAQ About Magnetic Spotlight Track Lights

Direct answers to the most common questions about sizing, wiring, and controlling 48V magnetic track spotlights.

A magnetic track spotlight snaps directly into a low-voltage 48V DC bus using neodymium magnets and spring-loaded copper pins rather than mechanical twist-lock tabs. Traditional line-voltage tracks route 120V or 240V directly along exposed copper busbars inside the rail, which requires tools or rigid locking collars to adjust. With our 48V magnetic system, you can slide, unclip, and reposition any magnetic track spotlight by hand while the track is live without risking an electric shock. Across our catalogue of 32 dedicated spotlight models, each unit houses its own internal driver circuitry, allowing independent 2.4GHz RF or Zigbee addressing right on the rail.

Choose a 24-degree magnetic spotlight for tight focal accents on artwork, a 30-degree or 36-degree head for task surfaces, and a 60-degree optic for broader wall washing. Narrow 24° optics concentrate candlepower into a defined circle without spilling glare into adjacent seating areas, making them ideal for dining tables or gallery displays. If you need wide, general ambient light across a hallway or kitchen counter, our 60° MS2-12B-ZR distributes foot-candles much more evenly. For a deeper breakdown of optical spread and throw distance, take a look at our spotlight and floodlight guide.

An adjustable magnetic led spotlight gives you multi-axis aiming to highlight vertical artwork or architectural details that shift over time. While fixed grille spotlights direct their beam straight down at a 90° angle to the ceiling, pivoting models like our foldable MG2-F series tilt up to 90° out of the channel and swivel horizontally. That flexibility prevents harsh scallop shadows on tall cabinetry. Across our wireless magnetic light system, we stock 32 spotlight models so you can mix rigid recessed grilles for downlighting with articulating heads for targeted accent focal points along the identical rail.

Calculate your magnetic track light spotlight capacity by dividing your driver's continuous wattage rating by 1.25 to leave a safe 20% operating headroom. For example, a 200W 48V Mean Well driver gives you 160W of continuous load. If you run 6W spotlights like our MS2-06B-ZR, you can comfortably power up to 26 fixtures along that single circuit (26 × 6W = 156W). Because 48V delivers one-fourth the amperage of 12V for the exact same wattage, line losses remain negligible across runs up to 20 m without noticeable voltage drop at the far end.

You can freely combine a magnetic track spotlight with diffuse strips on the same led track because both draw directly from the shared 48V bus. This is the biggest mechanical advantage of the system: you do not need separate circuits for ambient and accent lighting. You can place our 24-degree spotlight led fixtures directly adjacent to linear light strips on a single continuous rail. The spotlights handle the focal punch on your kitchen island or artwork, while the 24 models in our linear strip range provide soft, dot-free baseline illumination across the living space.

Most 48V magnetic spotlight heads are built around the standard 20-series profile with a 20 mm internal track slot, but conductor spacing varies between manufacturers. Our MS, LR, and MG fixtures are precisely engineered for the 4-wire copper rails listed in our magnetic track rails section. If you insert our heads into a third-party channel that uses narrower side busbars, the copper spring pins may fail to make reliable electrical contact even though the internal magnets latch firmly. Send us a photo or dimensioned drawing of your rail's internal channel cross-section before ordering to confirm mechanical fit.

A gateway is only required if you want app and voice control for your magnetic led spotlight; standard handheld remotes work straight out of the box. All our dual-protocol ZR models respond directly to 2.4GHz RF handheld remotes and wall panels within a 30 m line-of-sight range without any network hub. If you want automation via Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Home Assistant, you pair the spotlight through a standard Tuya Zigbee 3.0 gateway. Once paired, you can assign individual heads to custom lighting groups or schedule CCT shifts from 2700K warm white in the evening to 6500K daylight at noon.

A CCT magnetic spotlight focuses purely on functional white light from 2700K warm amber to 6500K cool white, while an RGB+CCT head adds 16 million colors into the same housing. In our 32-model spotlight range, 18 models are dedicated CCT fixtures engineered with dual-channel LEDs to maximize lumen output and maintain high CRI 90+ across the entire white spectrum. The 15 RGB+CCT models, like the LR5-06B, incorporate red, green, and blue diodes alongside the white emitters, making them suited for hospitality venues, media backdrops, and accent displays where dramatic architectural color washing is required alongside general white illumination.
