90 Degree LED L Connector Corner

25 products

Led L Connector is a specially designed 90 degree L shape connector for turning LED light strip around corners. This shaped led tape corner connector ensures the light continuity and neatness in corners and avoids led strip damage or performance degradation due to PCB bending or folding.

In indoor lighting projects, led strip lights are installed in areas with corners such as room ceilings or kitchen cabinets. The use of 90 degree led strip connector makes these applications more flexible and versatile.

Suitable for LED strips from 5mm to 12mm width as well as terminal wire cables.

Frequently Asked Questions About 90 Degree LED L-Connectors

Got a question about making a clean turn with your LED strips? You've come to the right place. Here are the questions we answer all day long.

You can, but you really shouldn't. Folding or sharply bending an standard LED strip puts a lot of stress on the circuit board and the solder joints. It's one of the fastest ways to cause a single LED or an entire section to fail down the road. A 90 degree LED L connector corner is built to make that turn cleanly and reliably without damaging the strip itself. It's the professional way to handle a corner. Unless you use an S-shaped bendable LED strip

You need to match three things exactly: the number of pins, the PCB width, and the strip type. A single color strip needs a 2-pin connector, RGB needs 4-pin, and so on. Then, measure the bare copper board of your strip—it's usually 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm. Finally, check if your strip is SMD or COB, as some of our newer connectors for COB strips are designed for a tighter fit to avoid dark spots.

Some do, but many don't. It's critical to check the product description.

Most of our clamp-down style connectors can be carefully opened with a small screwdriver and reused a few times, which is handy when you're mocking up a layout. The ones that work by piercing the circuit board are less forgiving. For a permanent install, it's always best to get it right the first time.

Absolutely. A huge amount of what we ship is built to a customer's drawing. Send us a sketch of your layout with dimensions—even a photo of a drawing on a napkin works. An engineer will spec out the right parts and send back a full wiring plan and quote, usually the same business day. We can pre-attach these L-connectors, add specific lengths of wire, and terminate the ends. There's no fee for the consultation and no obligation to order.

From a purely electrical standpoint, a good solder joint will always be the most robust and reliable connection. It's permanent. That said, for most indoor applications, a quality solderless connector is more than good enough and is dramatically faster and easier to install, especially in the field.
