Single Color Module String Lights

105 products

String Lights made with multiple independent LED modules of a single color (white, red, green, blue, yellow, etc.). Can be freely cut and connected as needed. This flexible design accommodates lighting decorative needs of all shapes and sizes. Each single color led module contains one or more LEDs. Offers a wide selection of LED types and wattages.

Single color LED modules have low energy consumption, even if many module strings are strung together, it will not consume too much energy, which is quite an energy-saving choice. With screw openings and adhesive backing, easy to install, you can stick these single color led module string lights anywhere.

Static Single-Color LED Backlighting Solutions

Static single-color LED backlighting is essential for commercial signage, lightboxes, and architectural displays. At SuperLightingLED, we primarily offer three core single-color LED backlighting solutions tailored to different installation depths, surface geometries, and mounting requirements.

1. Wire-Connected LED Module Strings (for Channel Letters & Signage)

This solution consists of individual, weather-resistant LED modules linked together by flexible, color-coded stranded light wires. Each individual module operates as an independent node and comes with a pre-applied self-adhesive tape backing (and optional mounting screw holes).

The flexible wire gaps between modules allow installer-defined spacing and unrestricted 360-degree positioning. The color-coded wires make polarity identification simple during fast-paced field installation.

Primary Applications: Medium to deep lightboxes (8–15+ cm depth), front-lit or halo-lit 3D channel letters, large commercial sign enclosures, and outdoor billboard backlighting where rugged modularity is required.

2. Flexible Cuttable LED Module Sheets (Matrix PCB Panel Backlighting)

Unlike wire-connected LED chains, this design integrates an entire array of individual single-LED circuits across a continuous, wide flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) panel. The entire backside features a continuous sheet of self-adhesive tape.

It operates as a light matrix. The panel can be trimmed along cutlines in both vertical and horizontal grid directions without severing the remaining circuit matrix. It provides completely shadowless, high-density uniform backlighting without needing to solder individual module wires.

Primary Applications: Ultra-slim lightboxes (2–5 cm depth), backlit translucent stone/marble/onyx surfaces, custom-shaped graphic displays, retail showcase backdrops, and curved architectural walls requiring flawless surface illumination.

3. Flexible LED Strip Lights (Linear FPCB Backlighting)

This setup features grouped LED circuits (typically sets of 3, 6, or more LEDs) arranged sequentially along a narrow, flexible printed circuit tape, equipped with a peel-and-stick adhesive backing along the entire length.

It provides a continuous linear light source. Cuttable at designated intervals or anywhere along a single line, it offers high flexibility along narrow tracks and curved contours along a single axis.

Primary Applications: Under-cabinet/shelf backlighting, cove lighting, and perimeter accenting.

Static Single-Color Outdoor Architectural Outline & Contour LED String Modules

Designed for permanent exterior installation, static single-color outdoor LED string modules provide clean, crisp, and high-visibility illumination to define building contours, rooflines, and structural edges. Engineered to withstand harsh outdoor environments, these non-pixel, single-color LED module lights deliver consistent, long-distance perimeter lighting for commercial and architectural projects.

Constructed with fully encapsulated, epoxy-potted injection-molded plastic housings and waterproof cables, the entire string achieves an IP67/IP68 weatherproof rating. To ensure long-term stability against heavy winds, extreme temperature swings, and UV degradation, these modules are designed without adhesive backing. Each module light features built-in mounting screw flanges, allowing installer-friendly, permanent mechanical fixation directly onto wood, fascia boards, aluminum profiles, or concrete structures using screws or rivets.

To accommodate varying architectural scales and light density requirements, SuperLightingLED offers fully customizable center-to-center LED module spacing (pitch). Whether your project requires tight 10 cm spacing for dense, continuous line-of-light effects or wider 50 cm–1 m spacing for subtle accent outlining, we can manufacture exact wire lengths between modules to eliminate unsightly wire slack.

Instead of forcing standard off-the-shelf configurations, SuperLightingLED can custom-build total string lengths and module counts per run (e.g., 20, 50, or 100 modules per string) to match your specific elevation drawings. We also offer custom-length input/output lead wires and pre-installed waterproof quick-connectors to minimize job-site soldering, streamline power injection, and drastically reduce installation time.

Primary Applications:

  • Building Perimeter & Roofline Outlining: Highlighting commercial building crests, eaves, cornices, and roof edges.
  • Bridge & Architectural Ridge Accents: Accentuating bridge suspension cables, pillars, archways, and structural steel beams.
  • Commercial Facade Borders: Framing storefront entrances, outdoor plazas, fuel station canopies, and hotel exteriors.
  • Landscape & Hardscape Features: Bordering retainment walls, gazebos, outdoor decks, and perimeter fencing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Single Color LED Module String Lights

Got a question about wiring, waterproofing, or choosing the right module? I've answered thousands of them over the years. Here are the most common ones.

First, check the IP rating—IP65 is the minimum for outdoor. Second, voltage. Most of our modules are 12V, which is great for shorter runs, we also have 24V and AC110-220V models for longer distances to minimize voltage drop. Finally, look at the LED type.

Our single color LED module strings typically come in lengths of 20, 40, or 50 modules. You can connect multiple strings together to reach 100 modules or more, but you have to power them correctly. Don't just connect them all end-to-end in one super long series. It's better to run parallel wires from your power supply to every string or two to avoid voltage drop and keep the brightness consistent.

It's straightforward. You can cut the wire anywhere between two modules with a standard pair of wire cutters. To reconnect them or add extension wire, just strip about half an inch (1cm) of insulation from the ends, twist the positive-to-positive and negative-to-negative wires together, and secure them with a wire nut or a solder connection. Always seal the connection with waterproof heat-shrink tubing for any outdoor use.

The right color makes a huge difference. Warm whites (2700K-3000K) feel cozy and are great for hospitality. Neutral white (4000K) is clear and good for task areas or retail. Cool whites (5000K+) mimic daylight and feel energizing, often used in workshops or for high-contrast signage. For solid colors, blue is calming, red is attention-grabbing, and green feels natural. Yes, we do this all the time. A large part of what we ship is built to a customer's drawing. Just send us a sketch of your layout with the dimensions. Tell us the wire length you need between each module and the length of the lead wires. An engineer will send back a wiring layout, a parts list, and a quote, usually within 12 hours.
