Round Suspended LED Channels for Decorative 360° Design

Our round suspended LED channels bring a softer, more architectural appearance to pendant lighting. Unlike angular profiles, the cylindrical shape provides a smooth visual appearance from different viewing directions, making the fixture itself an important part of the interior design.

Round channels are especially popular for decorative pendant lighting, feature installations and visually prominent spaces. They can be installed individually, in parallel rows, or arranged into custom circles and geometric forms.

For projects using suitable optical and diffuser configurations, round profiles can also create a more visually continuous luminous appearance around the fixture.

Choose round suspended LED channels when you want:

  • A soft, elegant pendant appearance
  • A visually distinctive ceiling fixture
  • Circular or curved lighting designs
  • Decorative linear pendant installations
  • Lighting that looks attractive from multiple directions

Typical applications: Hotels · Restaurants · Bars · Lobbies · Luxury retail · Residential interiors · Feature ceiling installations

Frequently Asked Questions About Round Pendant Light Channels

Got a question about building your own suspended tubular or ring light? You're in the right place. Here are the answers we give on the tech support desk every day.

It's all about where the light goes. A 360-degree round pendant channel uses a cylindrical diffuser to throw light in almost all directions—down, and out. It's great for ambient light. A semi-circular or dome-top profile directs the light downwards and sideways in about a 180-degree arc, which is better for focused task lighting over a table or counter.

The suspension kits are sold separately because the length you need depends on your ceiling height. They typically consist of a ceiling canopy, an adjustable steel aircraft cable, and a gripper that attaches to the channel. You mount the canopy to the ceiling junction box, and the cable feeds through the gripper, letting you set the height perfectly just by pressing a plunger. It's a clean, secure system.

Unlike circular silicone LED neon diffusers, these circular LED aluminum profiles feature only an aluminum base designed to hold the light strip. The aluminum base and the circular PC diffuser are separate components, so you can simply adhere the light strip directly to the aluminum base; the included circular PC diffuser will then diffuse the light emitted by the strip.

Yes, absolutely. A huge amount of what we ship is built to a customer's drawing. You can specify an exact length down to the millimeter, and we'll cut it. We can also do custom anodized or powder-coated finishes, though that usually requires a minimum order quantity. Just send us a sketch or a description of what you need. One of our engineers will send back a complete parts list and quote.

They can be, but the brightness comes from the LED strip you put inside, not the channel itself. The channel is just the housing. If you install a high-lumen strip, say 2000+ lumens per meter, and use a large-diameter profile, you can absolutely get enough output for primary illumination in a living room or office. For simple accent lighting, a less powerful strip will do just fine.
