Outdoor Wall Washer LED Light Bar attracts attention and creates an attractive visual environment for static buildings; Flexible Wall Wash LED Strip installed around home ceilings offers an even and smooth wash of light along the ceiling, creating a soft and inviting ambiance.

The powerful LED Wall Washing Light Fixtures provide uniform indirect lighting, enhancing and brightening specific or large areas with ease. With options such as DMX512 controllable RGB or RGBW LED Wallwasher Light, you can effortlessly achieve stunning lighting effects for outdoor building outlines or bridge lighting projects.

The LED wall washer uses a high-transmittance PMMA lens, high-brightness LED chip, low energy consumption, low light attenuation, high lumen. LED lamp body adopts aluminium material, which has good heat dissipation and corrosion resistance and has a long life. The exterior adopts thickened, toughened glass panel with strong hardness and high light transmittance. Both ends of the wall washer lamp adopt international standard three-core all-copper wire, and the tail adopts full-gluing waterproof treatment and a triple waterproof integrated sealing design. There is a thick aluminium bracket on the back: easy installation and use.

Rigid Wall Washer Lights vs. Flexible Wall Washer LED Strips

SuperLightingLED offers both rigid LED wall washer lights and flexible wall washer LED strips for different architectural lighting requirements.

Rigid wall washer lights use a solid aluminum fixture structure with dedicated optical lenses to create controlled, powerful light projection. They are ideal for straight building facades, exterior walls, bridges, columns, commercial buildings, landscape walls, and other applications that require consistent long-distance wall illumination. Different models are available in white light, RGB, RGBW, DMX512 and other lighting configurations.

Flexible wall washer LED strips combine directional wall-washing optics with a bendable strip structure. Unlike rigid linear fixtures, they can follow curved walls, columns, arches, irregular building outlines, landscape features, and other non-straight surfaces while maintaining a continuous wash of light. SuperLightingLED offers waterproof flexible wall washer options in single color, RGB, RGBW and addressable versions for both static and dynamic architectural lighting projects.

For long, straight surfaces and stronger projection, choose a rigid wall washer light. For curved or irregular architectural surfaces, a flexible wall washer LED strip provides greater installation freedom.

Outdoor Wall Wash Lighting vs. Indoor Wall Wash Lighting

SuperLightingLED provides complete wall wash lighting solutions for both outdoor architectural lighting and indoor architectural lighting, but the fixture structure and installation method are different.

For outdoor applications, our wall washer lights are complete, integrated lighting fixtures. The LEDs, optical lenses, driver components, and durable metal housing are combined into a finished lighting unit, providing stable heat dissipation, controlled light projection, and reliable protection for exterior installations. These integrated fixtures are ideal for building facades, exterior walls, hotels, bridges, columns, landscape walls, and other architectural surfaces where powerful and consistent wall illumination is required.

For indoor wall washing, SuperLightingLED also offers a dedicated range of Wall Wash LED Channels. Instead of using a visible outdoor-style fixture, an LED strip and aluminum profile can be recessed or integrated into ceilings, drywall, ceiling-to-wall junctions and other architectural details. This creates a cleaner, more discreet lighting system that spreads soft, continuous light across interior walls while keeping the light source visually integrated into the space.

Choose outdoor wall washer lights when weather protection, stronger projection and exterior architectural illumination are required. Choose indoor wall wash LED channels when the goal is seamless integration, concealed lighting and a clean architectural finish for homes, hotels, restaurants, retail spaces and other interiors.

Frequently Asked Questions About LED Wall Wash Lighting

Got a question about getting that perfect, even sheet of light? I've answered thousands of them over the years. Here are the most common ones that come up before you buy.

This is the number one thing people get wrong. The distance from the wall and the spacing between fixtures determines how even the light looks. A good rule of thumb is to place the fixture about one-third of the wall's height away from it. For an 8-foot ceiling, that's about 2.5 to 3 feet out. Mount it too close, and you'll get a bright, distracting 'hot spot' at the top and shadows below. We have a full guide on how to use wall wash lights that walks through the geometry.

They're opposites. Wall washing smooths out imperfections by bathing a wall in uniform, indirect light from a distance. Wall grazing, on the other hand, is when you place the light very close to a textured surface like stone or brick. This creates dramatic shadows that highlight the texture. Both use linear lights, but the placement and intent are completely different. Use washing for smooth drywall, grazing for rough stone.

If you want precise, dynamic control over colors and effects across multiple fixtures, then yes, you need DMX. It's the industry standard for architectural and stage lighting for a reason. While a simple RF remote is fine for one or two fixtures in a single color, DMX lets you program scenes, create flowing color chases, and sync dozens of lights perfectly. You'll need a dedicated DMX master controller to send the signals.

For curved surfaces, a rigid aluminum bar just won't work. This is exactly why we have flexible wall washer LED strips. They can follow the curve of a wall perfectly, giving you that smooth, continuous wash of light without any gaps or awkward angles. They combine the power and optics of a traditional wall washer with the versatility of a flexible LED strip light.

That depends entirely on the voltage and power consumption of the specific model. For our 24V DC models, you can typically run up to 5-6 meters (about 16-20 feet) in a series before needing to re-inject power to avoid voltage drop. For our AC mains voltage (100-240V) fixtures, you can often connect much longer runs, because voltage drop isn't a concern. Always check the product's spec sheet—it will list the maximum connection length.

Scalloping happens when your wall washer lights are spaced too far apart. Each light creates an arc of light, and if the fixtures aren't close enough, those arcs don't overlap properly, leaving dimmer, crescent-shaped shadows between them. The solution is to move the fixtures closer together. The correct spacing is usually equal to their distance from the wall. So, if your lights are 3 feet from the wall, they should also be 3 feet apart from each other for a smooth, scallop-free effect.
