Check these outdoor LED light bars for your exterior lighting projects, perfect to light up buildings. Guardrail Tube Lighting and Outdoor Lighting are the two main applications for our linear bar lights. Outdoor linear led light bars are equipped with high waterproof and dustproof ratings to protect the inside LEDs from rain, moisture, dust, ensuring stable operation in wet exterior environments.

Manufactured with rugged and weather-resistant materials, these waterproof led linear bar light fixtures are able to withstand the effects of natural environments such as UV rays, high and low temperatures, and have high mechanical strength and impact resistance to prevent damage caused by external forces.

Outdoor Linear LED Bar Lighting

Our linear bar lighting includes both single-color and addressable SPI/TTL or DMX512 light types, provide simple and stable lighting effects or to achieve dynamic color changes. Each addressable led linear light bar can be controlled independently. If you're looking for linear light strips for large-area background lighting, check out our diffused rigid light bars.

One special product is the 360-degree fully illuminated linear light, which can be connected by a gimbal to create various shapes. The LL1-18 offers simple installation for indoor household lighting, with multiple color variations in RGB and color temperatures. We also offer smart-control contemporary led landscape lights to light up exterior accents.

Outdoor Linear Flood Lights

SuperLightingLED outdoor linear flood lights provide broad, even illumination for architectural and landscape lighting projects. The linear LED fixture design makes them ideal for building outlines, facades, guardrails, columns, bridges, walkways, landscape structures, commercial exteriors, and other locations where continuous linear illumination is preferred over a concentrated spotlight.

Unlike narrow-beam accent lighting, our linear flood LED lights are designed to spread light across a wider area. Different models use diffused PC covers or optical structures to create smooth, uniform illumination, with wide beam options available for projects requiring greater light coverage. Selected models offer up to a 180° beam angle, making them especially suitable for guardrails, building outlines, and general architectural ambient lighting.

Linear Flood Light or Wall Washer?

Choose an outdoor linear flood light when you want broad, diffused illumination along building outlines, guardrails, landscape structures or architectural features. The wider light distribution creates a softer and more even illuminated area.

For projects that need to project light specifically across a vertical wall or facade, choose an LED wall washer instead. Wall washer LED fixtures use more controlled optics to direct the light onto the wall surface, making them better suited for highlighting wall height, texture, columns and architectural details.

SuperLightingLED offers both outdoor linear flood lights and dedicated LED wall washer lights, allowing the beam distribution, fixture length, voltage, light color and control method to be matched to the requirements of each project.

Frequently Asked Questions About LED Linear Bar Lighting

Your questions about choosing, installing, and powering outdoor LED linear bar lights, answered by our engineering team.

It's all about durability and integration. An LED linear bar is a complete, finished fixture engineered for outdoor life. The aluminum body is the heatsink, the PC/PMMA lens is built-in to shape the light, and the end caps are factory-sealed for a high IP rating. A flexible LED strip in a channel is a custom assembly. For rugged use, like on a building facade or guardrail, a purpose-built waterproof LED light bar is designed to handle weather and impact in a way a channel assembly just isn't.

This is a common and expensive mistake. An IP67 waterproof LED light bar is protected against temporary immersion up to 1 meter, so it's perfect for rain, splashes, and wet locations.

Absolutely. Using a vertical LED light bar is a classic way to light columns or create lines of light on a building. The rigid housing keeps them perfectly straight, and the focused optics can graze light up or down the column to highlight its form. This is a very popular application for our IP67-rated linear fixtures in architectural designs.

It's all about total wattage. Look at the watts-per-meter or watts-per-fixture on the product page. Add up the total wattage for all the LED light bars in your run. Then, choose a power supply that is at least 20% larger than your total load. Don't max it out. If your lights draw 80W, get a 100W or 120W driver. This headroom prevents overheating and extends the life of the power supply.

Using undersized wire is a classic mistake that causes voltage drop and can be a fire hazard. For a 24V system, you can typically use 18 AWG (American Wire Gauge) for runs up to about 10 meters (33 feet) if the total load is under 100W. For longer runs or higher loads, you'll need to step up to 16 AWG or even 14 AWG wire to prevent the lights from dimming at the far end. Always check a voltage drop chart if you're not sure.
