Tunable White LED Module Strings

10 products

Modular CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) lighting represents a revolutionary shift from traditional tunable white LED strips, offering a design where individual lighting units—be they blocks, rigid bars, or flexible sheets—operate as a synchronized system.

Unlike standard S-type or linear strip lights that may struggle with "hotspots" or uneven coverage in deep or irregularly shaped fixtures, these CCT LED module systems are engineered for perfectly seamless, dot-free illumination.

Versatile Designs for CCT Changing Backlighting

We offer three distinct CCT modular formats to meet specific LED installation challenges:

  • Interconnected Block Modules: Gold standard for advertising light boxes and channel letters. The modular string design allows for easy navigation around complex internal framing while maintaining uniform brightness.
  • Linear Rigid Bars: Optimized for soft film ceilings and slim light boxes , these dual white color light bars use diffuse reflection to eliminate hot spots even in shallow cavities.
  • Flexible LED Light Sheets: Comprised of hundreds of independent circuit zones, these panels are designed for backlighting translucent stone like marble, onyx, and quartz.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tunable White LED Module Strings

Got a question about our tunable white modules or backlighting sheets? I've been answering these for 12 years here at the desk. Here are the most common ones.

Warm white light is that cozy, yellowish glow you get from a classic incandescent bulb, usually in the 2700K to 3000K range. It’s relaxing. Cool white, or daylight, is a crisp, often blue-tinted white light around 5000K to 6500K. It mimics natural daylight and is better for task-oriented spaces. Our tunable white LED lighting lets you adjust anywhere between those two points. You can learn more in our guide on soft white vs daylight.

Yes, you absolutely do. A tunable white LED module requires a dedicated CCT controller that has two output channels: one for the warm white LEDs and one for the cool white LEDs. A standard single-color dimmer won't work. We have hundreds of compatible CCT dimmers that pair with everything from simple RF remotes to sophisticated DALI and Zigbee smart home systems.

Not if you choose the right product. For backlighting stone, you want our flexible LED light sheets. They have hundreds of tightly-spaced LEDs that create a completely uniform field of diffused lighting, eliminating any chance of hotspots, even in very shallow installations.

The lens on a diffused lighting module is a beam-shaper. It takes the concentrated light from the LED chip and spreads it out over a very wide angle, often 160° or more. This wide distribution allows you to space the modules further apart and place them closer to the diffusing surface (like in a shallow sign box) without creating bright spots. It's all about achieving that perfectly even, shadowless illumination.
