LED Pixel Module Lights

45 products

Available in both non-waterproof and waterproof versions, LED Pixel Module Lights adopt high-quality WS2811, WS2801, UCS1903, DMX512 addressable RGB, UCS2904, DMX512 addressable RGBW, and other programmable LED chips.

Non-waterproof versions feature an exposed circuit board and are ideal for dry indoor applications, while waterproof versions are protected by a durable PC housing designed to resist UV exposure, aging, and yellowing, making them suitable for exterior outdoor installations.

The integration of the smart IC chip allows each 1-LED or multi-LED light pixel module to be individually controlled for its own color, allowing for the display of fantastic dynamic lighting effects, perfect for indoor decorative lighting, house and outdoor Christmas decorations, architectural lighting, signage, and adding ambiance to other holiday events.

By matching with the Dream Color LED controller, it can achieve dynamic effects such as chasing, flowing water, color changing, and other programmable lighting patterns. Waterproof LED pixel light models are available with IP65, IP67, or IP68 protection depending on the product, making them suitable for outdoor decoration lighting, architectural facade lighting, exterior sign lighting, and other outdoor applications, while non-waterproof models are recommended for dry indoor installations.

Individually Addressable LED Pixel Modules

Engineered for precision digital lighting control, these Individually Addressable LED Pixel Modules feature integrated driver microchips (ICs) that allow every single LED pixel to be independently controlled across 16.7 million colors.

Operating on safe, low-voltage 12V or 24V DC power systems, these discrete pixel LED modules come equipped with dedicated male and female input/output connectors, enabling seamless daisy-chaining, rapid plug-and-play assembly, and effortless field maintenance without soldering.

Non-Waterproof Individually Addressable LED Pixel Modules

Constructed with open-frame enclosures without heavy resin encapsulation, these indoor-rated LED pixel lights utilize JST-SM quick-plug connectors. Available in 3-pin (V+, Data, GND), 4-pin (V+, Data, Backup Data/Clock, GND), or 5-pin (V+, Data A, Data B, P, GND) configurations, they allow rapid snap-together links between pixel chains and controllers.

Ideal Applications:

Indoor Commercial Lightboxes & Retail Displays: Edge-to-edge animated backlighting for poster frames and exhibition booths.

Custom 2D/3D Pixel Matrices & Art Installations: Interior decorative light walls, ceiling grids, and dynamic prop displays.

Waterproof Individually Addressable LED Pixel Modules

Built for permanent exterior and harsh environmental use, these LED pixels feature fully epoxy-potted, injection-molded housings with anti-UV silicone/PVC cabling. Connections are made via heavy-duty screw-lock waterproof connectors equipped with internal rubber O-rings, establishing a hermetic seal against water, dust, and moisture ingress.

Ideal Applications:

Outdoor Architectural Facade Lighting: Building exterior media walls, dynamic matrix video curtains, and bridge lighting.

Commercial Signage & Channel Letters: Front-lit and halo-lit 3D exterior letters, billboard cabinets, and canopy borders.

Landscape & Theme Park Attractions: Tree wrapping, gazebo outlines, perimeter fencing, and outdoor holiday light shows.

Frequently Asked Questions About LED Pixel Module Lights

Got a question about wiring, controlling, or choosing the right pixel modules? I've answered thousands of them. Here are the most common ones I hear from customers before they order.

It depends on the scale and your tolerance for troubleshooting. SPI, which covers protocols like WS2811 and UCS1903, is great for smaller projects and is what most hobbyists use. It's simpler, but the data signal can get weak after about 10 meters. DMX is the standard for professional stage and architectural lighting. It's more robust, less prone to interference, and designed for massive, synchronized systems.

You need a dedicated pixel controller that speaks the right language for the IC chip in your modules. If your modules use a WS2811, SK6812, or UCS1903 chip, you need an SPI controller. If they are DMX512 modules, you'll need one of our DMX master consoles or a computer interface that can output a DMX signal. Always match the controller protocol to the pixel protocol.

It's pretty straightforward, but one mistake will stop the whole string from working. Look for the arrows on the module's circuit board — data always flows in that direction. Your controller's data output connects to the 'Data In' (DI) pad on the first module. Then you just connect power (V+) and ground (GND). A very common mistake is connecting to the 'Data Out' (DO) side by accident. Data has to come in the right end.

RGBW is a big step up if you need good quality white light. An RGB pixel makes white by mixing red, green, and blue at full power, which often creates a cool, slightly bluish-white. An RGBW pixel adds a fourth, dedicated white LED. This gives you a much cleaner, higher-quality white light, and you can usually choose between warm or cool white.
