A wifi led controller connects directly to your local 2.4GHz home router without requiring an external gateway hardware bridge. WiFi is straightforward for standalone rooms, whereas Zigbee is suited for large networks with 30 or more nodes to avoid crowding your router's IP table.

SkyDance WiFi LED controllers use non-volatile EEPROM storage that remembers your dimming level, color mix, and last active state through a power cycle. Inside the Smart Life app settings, you can configure the exact power-on behavior: restore the last state, default to 100% brightness, or remain powered off until manually triggered.
