Pricing, Quantity Breaks & Samples

No coupon codes, no flash sales, no discount you have to hunt for. The price you see is what a trade buyer pays, quantity breaks apply automatically, and anything past a few reels is quoted individually by a person. Every price on the SuperLightingLED site is a stock price — what you see is what ships (standard orders such as accessories and controllers within 24–48 hours; LED strips on the production lead time shown on the product page) — and when the length or specification you need is not on the shelf, the quotation covers building it.

01 — Where the price actually comes down

Three mechanisms — all automatic or quoted, none of them needing a code.

Quantity breaks on the product page

Every product page shows its own price tiers, and the correct tier is applied at checkout automatically — nothing to enter, nothing to remember. If the quantity you need sits between two published tiers, ask: on longer runs we frequently do better than the table.

Full reels and full lengths

Ordering by the complete reel, or by the full LED aluminium profile length, avoids cut charges and normally lands under the tier price per metre. Tell us the total you need and we will say which way works out cheaper.

A quotation for anything larger

Past a few reels a quotation beats any published tier. Send the quantity and destination and you get line-item pricing, freight and lead time within one business day.

Why there is no coupon code

A coupon code means the list price was inflated to absorb it. Ours is not: what you see is what a trade buyer pays before quantity breaks. The one thing that genuinely moves your landed cost is freight — consolidating into a single shipment, or crossing the $299 free-shipping threshold, saves considerably more than any percentage code would.

02 — Samples

A straight answer, because a lot of sites are vague about this.

We no longer run a standalone free-sample programme

International freight on one small parcel now costs several times what the sample itself is worth. Sending free samples worldwide stopped being sustainable, and we would rather say so plainly than quietly ignore the requests.

What we do instead: samples with your order

When you place an order we will normally include sample pieces of related products — a different colour temperature, a different density, a section of LED aluminium profile, an LED strip connector type you have not tried. Tell us what you are considering next and we will put it in the box. No freight cost to you, because it travels with goods you were already buying.

Evaluating before a first order

Tell us the job and we will send photographs, the full specification sheet and measured data for the models worth comparing — and we will say which one we would use and why. For a genuine project quantity, ask about a paid sample: the cost comes off the first order.

What a sample answers, and what it does not

A sample answers “is this the colour and quality I expected”. It does not answer “how does 40 metres of this behave on one LED driver” — that is a calculation, not a sample, and we will do it for you free of charge before you order. Ask for the LED driver sizing and the voltage-drop working, and you have the half a sample cannot show you.

03 — Volume and project quotations

For anything past a few reels, a quotation beats a coupon every time.

What we quote on

Wholesale and distribution volume, contractor project quantities, custom builds — specific lengths, specific LED strip connectors, pre-assembled kits. Send the bill of materials or just describe the job.

What we need from you

Quantity, target specification, destination country, and roughly when you need it. Destination matters — it changes the freight and the duty treatment, which changes the landed price.

What you get back

A line-item quotation with unit price, freight and lead time, from a named person. Within one business day, and it is a real quote you can put in front of your own client.

04 — Current status of the 5% US discount

Stated plainly because the situation is not ours to control.

Suspended for small US orders — effective date of restoration undetermined

US–China tariffs made the previous 5% discount on small US orders unsustainable, so it is suspended rather than quietly withdrawn. We have not replaced it with a hidden price rise: the list price is the list price. For larger US orders we work the pricing case by case through a quotation, because at volume there is room to absorb some of it. Ask and we will tell you honestly whether there is or is not.
