You just wire the input side to the power supply and the output side to the light strip or puck. Just make sure the sensor's voltage range (e.g., 12-24VDC) matches your power supply and lights.

This is exactly what multi-channel power supplies and junction boxes are for. A multi-channel supply gives you several dedicated outputs right from the driver. You run one thin wire to each shelf from a central point. It keeps things way tidier than daisy-chaining strips together, and it helps prevent voltage drop on the lower shelves.

Yes, on some controllers. Our synchronous controllers, like the 6CH CCT controller, are designed for this. You can plug a door sensor for one cabinet, a PIR motion sensor for another, and a touch dimmer for a third all into the same control box. They'll all work independently to control their specific light while being powered by the same unit.

They're very common in the low-voltage cabinet lighting world, but they aren't a universal standard. We use them a lot because they're small, reliable, and easy for DIY installs.
