The lights can then automatically turn off according to the configured settings when the area is no longer in use.
SkyDance RF RGBW panel remotes support different power options, including AC 100–240V, DC 12–48V, AAA batteries, and coin-cell batteries. One panel remote can be paired with multiple compatible RGBW controllers, allowing several LED strips or fixtures to operate together.
**Important Wiring Notice:** When used as a wireless RF panel remote, the RGBW panel acts as a wireless command transmitter only. It does not directly supply electrical power or output signals to the RGBW LED lights. A separately installed, compatible SkyDance RF RGBW controller is required to drive the connected RGBW lighting.

RF RGBW CC Controller
The SkyDance RF RGBW CC Controller Series is specifically designed for constant-current (CC) RGBW LED fixtures. Connect these CC controllers to your compatible constant-current RGBW LED lights to independently manage red, green, blue, and white LED outputs through wireless lighting control.
Featuring DC 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V power input options, these controllers offer four-channel PWM constant-current output with 150mA-500mA and 350mA-1200mA current range. FAQ About RF RGBW Control System
Direct technical answers on wiring, load planning, protocol bridging, and RF pairing from our bench engineers.
An RF RGBW control system manages 4-channel color-changing tape light by regulating red, green, blue, and a dedicated white diode independently over a 2.4 GHz wireless link. Unlike 3-channel RGB gear that creates an artificial white by blending all primary colors at high power, this setup drives a true phosphor-coated white diode—typically 3000K warm white or 4000K natural white—alongside full-spectrum color mixing. Each receiver accepts pulse-width modulation (PWM) commands from handheld remotes, wireless glass wall panels, or smart gateways up to 30 meters away.
To wire an RF RGBW controller to RGBW LED strip lights, connect the 5-wire harness by landing the common positive line on the V+ terminal, followed by red on R, green on G, blue on B, and white on W. The controller sits between your constant-voltage DC power supply and the tape light; never wire mains AC directly into the controller terminals. Keep your low-voltage wire runs between the driver and receiver under 10 meters using 16 AWG or 18 AWG copper to prevent voltage drop, or follow our RGBW strip wiring guide for multi-feed diagrams.
Yes, an RF RGBW control system allows independent dimming and switching of the white channel without shifting your selected RGB color mix. Remotes like the RT4, RS4, and R14 feature dedicated white buttons or touch sliders so you can turn the white diode completely off for vivid saturated accents, or run pure white alone at 0.1% to 100% brightness for task illumination. You can also blend white into dynamic RGB modes to create pastel shades without causing color-temperature drift.
When your RGBW LED strip lights exceed the controller's current limit—usually 12A to 15A total across 4 channels—split the run and install 4-channel power repeaters. A standard 24V RGBW tape draws around 19.2 W/m (0.8 A/m), meaning a 15A receiver tops out around 15 meters of continuous strip before thermal overload. Rather than daisy-chaining and cooking the PCB traces, run a 4-channel repeater fed by a secondary power supply to mimic the PWM signal cleanly across hundreds of feet.
Every RF RGBW control system receiver in this series pairs with up to 10 separate transmitters simultaneously. You can mount an in-wall glass touch panel like the TW4 near the doorway and keep a handheld remote on the nightstand, both controlling the exact same tape light run. To pair an additional remote, press the Match key on the receiver for 1 second, then tap any zone key on the transmitter; the connected LEDs blink three times to confirm registration.
Each RF RGBW LED controller features built-in automatic signal re-transmission that forwards commands to neighboring receivers within 30 meters. This mesh-style cascading extends the effective wireless coverage across hundreds of meters and through interior drywall partitions without adding dedicated signal boosters. As long as no two adjacent receivers sit farther than 30 meters apart, any zone command or color transition triggered on your remote reaches the furthest receiver in the chain with sub-millisecond synchronization.
Yes, multi-protocol models in our RF RGBW control system lineup combine 2.4G RF with onboard WiFi, Zigbee 3.0, or Bluetooth connectivity. Controllers like the WZS4 and WB5 let you bind handheld RF remotes for immediate local tactile control while simultaneously linking to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app for cloud automation, schedules, and Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. If you already have RF-only receivers installed, adding a single WiFi-to-RF converter bridges your existing hardware to the app.
