UD Series Bendable LED Strip Tracks
25 productsOne type of our Flexible LED Channel Series. UD series means that the aluminium channels can be bent up and down based on the track plane. Obviously, these bendable led strip light tracks are designed to fit uneven ceilings or walls, such as layered ceilings, wash curved facade ceiling+wall, and arcade walkways.

UD Series: Flexible and Bendable Aluminum LED Strip Track for Curved Planes
If the LR series creates curved lines on the same plane, the UD series led tracks add light that follow the curvature of the curved plane such as an arch structure. Its design takes the irregularities in the construction into account, making it simple and straightforward to install LED strip lighting on these curved surfaces.
The UD series led strip track' multiple mounting options allow designers to choose the most appropriate installation method based on specific project curvature requirements and architectural features. Whether you're looking for a minimalist style, need a quick installation, or want to blend seamlessly into the architectural surface, the UD Series meets all of these needs, creating LED tape lighting effects that are both aesthetic and functional along curved planes.

Create Continuous Light Lines Around Curved Walls, Doorways & Furniture
The UD Series Bendable LED Strip Tracks are designed for LED lighting that needs to follow up-and-down curves rather than simply bending left and right on a flat plane. The flexible aluminum channel can follow the curvature of an architectural surface, making it possible to create continuous LED light lines around arched doorways, rounded wall corners, curved furniture, cabinets, arches, and other vertical curved details.
Unlike a conventional straight LED aluminum channel, the UD Series can be shaped to follow the existing geometry of the architecture. This makes it useful when the LED tapr lighting is intended to finish, frame, or emphasize a curved surface rather than simply illuminate a straight section.
The UD Series is particularly suitable for vertical curved surfaces and rounded architectural transitions. Typical applications include:
- Arched Doorways & Openings — Run a continuous LED light line around a curved doorway, entrance, arch, or passageway to emphasize the architectural outline and create a clear visual transition.
- Rounded Cabinet & Furniture Edges — Follow the rounded corners of cabinets, display units, counters, shelving, wardrobes, and custom furniture to create integrated linear lighting without breaking the light line into short straight sections.
- Curved Wall Corners — Use the profile to follow inside or outside curved transitions between walls, ceilings, columns, or decorative architectural features, creating a smoother lighting detail than a series of rigid profiles.
- Curved Wall & Ceiling Transitions — The UD channel can follow curved or irregular surfaces where the lighting needs to move naturally from one architectural plane to another. SuperLightingLED specifically lists applications such as uneven ceilings, curved ceiling-and-wall surfaces, and architectural arches.
Frequently Asked Questions About UD Series Bendable LED Strip Tracks
Got a question about lighting up a curve? You're in the right place. Here are the common questions we answer for architects and installers working with arches and curved walls.
Look at the surface you're lighting. If the surface itself is curved—like an arched doorway, a barrel-vaulted ceiling, or a wavy reception desk facade—you need a UD series profile to follow that contour. If the surface is flat but you want the light to follow a curved path on it, like a circle or serpentine shape, you need an LR series profile.
Most standard flexible LED strips will work, as long as the PCB width fits inside the channel. The most important thing is to make sure the strip is securely attached inside the channel so it doesn't twist or lift, which can create hotspots in the light.
This takes patience, but it's totally doable. The key is to secure the channel properly first with screws, then use fiberglass mesh tape over the perforated flanges, extending it well onto the drywall. Apply your joint compound in several thin coats, letting each one dry completely, rather than trying to build it up all at once. This minimizes shrinkage and prevents the cracks that show up weeks later.
Yes, but you have to pair the channel with the right strip. The aluminum channel itself is just metal; it's not waterproof. For a wet area like a shower, you must use an IP67 or IP68 rated waterproof LED strip inside the channel. You'll also need to seal the end caps and any wire entry points with a good quality, non-acidic silicone to keep moisture out. We stock the right IP68 connectors to make the job easier.
