Small rigid UV light bar made of high power ultraviolet UV A wavelength 365nm LED lights, length 236mm/9.3", width 15.2mm/0.6", height 9mm/0.35". Such a small aluminum UV led bar includes 28 365nm LEDs. This UV led light bar substrate is made of immersed gold PCB with aluminum channel housing for heat management, and is able to achieve IP66 waterproof rating. 

Mini 365nm UV led black light bar is flexible in application and suitable for various UV light projects, UV glue curing, fluorescence testing, natural stone identification, skin probing and so on. Can cure UV glue at high speed. Powered by 24V DC male plug.

1. Does this UV LED bar light use a current limiting resistor?

This UV light bar does not have a current limiting resistor, but it has a PTC element with over-current and over-heat active protection, which can effectively increase the internal resistance to reduce the operating current for self-protection under high temperature over-current conditions (protection is activated at 90°, and automatically returns to normal when the operating temperature is restored to below 40°).

 

2. Can it be used with any constant voltage 24V power supply?

Yes, the UV light bar works at about 50% of the rated power when driven by DC24V, so it is safe to use it at about DC24V voltage.

 

3. What is the current of the LED when using 24V power supply?

The working current of the UV strip is about 600ma when driven by DC24V (ambient temperature 25°).

 

4. 24V constant current or constant voltage LED driver?

It can be driven by constant voltage DC24V power supply or constant current power supply (within 1.2A constant current power supply, working voltage 24V-26V).

Rated power is 28W/1.2A (MAX). Nearly 90% of the power drive is recommended to use constant-current drive, while need to control the operating temperature within 70℃. the lower the operating temperature, the higher the performance. 

Constant voltage and current limiting power supply is the best power solution for this UV light bar.

 

5. Use problem - heating

When the UV light bar continues to work, heat is inevitable, and is not a failure. As long as you ensure that the operating voltage is DC24V, you can rest assured that the use.

The 365nm light bar is equipped with overheating protection, when the working temperature exceeds 90℃, it will actively open the overheating protection (the light bar works at 20% brightness when at the overheating protection); when the temperature returns to about 40℃, the 365nm LED bar will automatically return to normal. This feature will prevent extreme overheating and burning of the light bar.

 

6.Suggestions for use:

• You can reduce the temperature of the 365nm LED light bar by reducing the voltage;

• Fix the aluminum light bar to stick on other metal shell or install cooling fan to strengthen the heat dissipation effect; 

• Used through indirect time control (lights up when the 365nm light strip is needed; goes out when not needed). When the light bar must be always on when using, please connect other heat dissipation structure to strengthen heat dissipation.

• The working voltage of the 365nm strip is DC23V-25V, the working current is 1.2A (max.), you can use constant current power supply to limit the 365nm LED's working current to stabilize the working temperature. 

• If there is only constant voltage DC24V power supply, please reduce the voltage by the voltage micro-adjustment of the power adapter to reduce the brightness and working temperature of the 365nm bar. If the power adapter does not have the function of voltage fine-tuning, then add a dimmer to reduce the brightness to reduce the working temperature of the light bar.

What voltage does this LED strip light run on?
