When you want lighting to perfectly display all RGB colors and dynamic effects within a 5-meter range, the 12V SK6812 is your top-tier choice. As a fundamental RGBIC protocol, SK6812 is compatible with various SPI controllers, such as smart wireless controllers or programmable controllers.

This 12V SK6812 RGB strip utilizes a 10mm-wide flexible circuit board. Each 5-meter roll contains 300 SMD5050 LEDs, with each LED functioning as an individually controllable pixel. You will need a SK6812 controller capable of managing at least 300 pixels to operate this strip.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?

Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights

Do I need power injection?
