How to Install & Use This 0-10V Dimmer

  1. Safety First: Before installation, ensure the main circuit breaker is turned off to prevent electrical shock.
  2. Wiring Connections: Connect the 100-240Vac Line (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the dimmer's input terminals. Connect the 0-10V output signal wires (+ and -) to the corresponding terminals on your 0-10V LED driver. Finally, connect the switched load from the L1 terminal and Neutral to your lights or driver input.
  3. Manual Knob Control: Once installed and powered on, push the rotary knob to turn the lights on or off. A distinct 'click' can be heard. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase brightness and counter-clockwise to decrease it for smooth dimming.
  4. Pairing with an RF Remote: To pair, short press the "ID learning button" on the dimmer panel; the connected lights will flicker. Within 15 seconds, press the On/Off key on a compatible remote (e.g., F1) or the desired zone keys (e.g., F5). A rapid flicker from the lights will confirm a successful pairing.
  5. Pairing with a WiFi Gateway: For smartphone app control, you must use a compatible L-Tech WiFi gateway (sold separately). Connect the gateway to your network, open the mobile app, navigate to the zone settings, and follow the on-screen "MATCH" prompts to link the dimmer.
  6. Clearing Paired Codes: To unpair all remotes, press and hold the "ID learning button" on the dimmer for 10 seconds until the lights flicker 5 times. This confirms all codes have been cleared.
⚠ Precautions
  • This product is designed for professional installation. Always consult a qualified electrician.
  • This dimmer is intended for use with 0-10V dimmable LED drivers. Do not connect it directly to LED strips or non-dimmable fixtures.
  • Ensure the total connected load does not exceed the 5A (90-250Vac) switching capacity. For larger loads, an external relay is required.
  • The dimmer is designed for installation in a standard 86-type European style electrical wall box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the main advantage of the E610P-RF over a standard 0-10V dimmer?

A:Its hybrid design. You get the robust, industry-standard wired 0-10V control plus the flexibility of adding wireless RF remote control without any extra wiring.

Q: Can I control this dimmer from my phone?

A:Yes, but you will need to purchase and install a compatible L-Tech WiFi gateway, such as the WiFi-106. The gateway bridges the RF signal to your home WiFi network for app control.

Q: Does this dimmer actually turn the lights off, or just dim to zero?

A:It has a built-in 5A power relay. When you turn the knob fully counter-clockwise until it clicks, it physically disconnects the power to your lights, ensuring a complete shut-off.

Q: What kind of lights can I control with this dimmer?

A:You can control any LED light fixture or LED strip that is powered by a 0-10V dimmable LED driver. The dimmer sends the control signal to the driver.

Q: How many remotes can I pair with a single E610P-RF dimmer panel?

A:You can pair one dimmer panel with a maximum of 10 compatible RF remotes, allowing for multiple control points in a room.

Q: Is this a direct replacement for the older E610P-PWM model?

A:Yes, the E610P-RF is the new and improved version designed to replace the E610P-PWM, offering more versatile control options.
