RF CC Dimmable LED Driver
10 productsThe SkyDance RF CC Dimmable LED Driver Series brings convenient wireless dimming control to constant-current LED fixtures. Connect these drivers to compatible dimmable constant-current LED lights, then use the built-in DIP switches to select the appropriate output current for your fixture. Depending on the model, adjustable current ranges include 100–450mA, 150–500mA, and 350–700mA.
After setting the required output current, pair the CC driver with a compatible SkyDance RF handheld dimming remote or wall-mounted panel remote to wirelessly control your constant-current LED fixtures. Supported dimming functions make it easy to adjust lighting from a convenient location. Some models also support Wi-Fi control, offering additional wireless control options. (Please note: Zigbee-only models can only be used with compatible Zigbee remote controls; they cannot be used with RF remote controls.)
Multiple SkyDance RF CC dimmable LED drivers can be linked to compatible wireless remotes, allowing different constant-current lighting fixtures to operate in synchronization within an RF control range of up to 30 meters under suitable conditions.
Designed with multiple safety protections, these CC dimming drivers provide protection against short circuits, overload, no-load conditions, reverse polarity, overheating and automatic recovery. A 5-year warranty provides additional confidence for long-term lighting installations.
FAQ About RF CC Dimmable LED Drivers
Direct engineering answers on current selection, series wiring, wireless pairing, and voltage matching for constant current LED installations.
You set the output current on an RF CC dimmable LED driver using the onboard DIP switches before applying AC power. Never flip the DIP switches while the driver is powered, or you risk sending an electrical spike through the connected LEDs. These CC drivers allow step adjustments from 100mA up to 750mA across switch combinations. Check the label on your LED fixture for its rated drive current, match the DIP switch table printed on the driver case, and verify the circuit before energizing.
Do not wire constant current fixtures in parallel to one driver. Constant current LEDs must be wired in series, running positive from the driver to the first fixture, negative of the first to positive of the second, and closing the loop from the last fixture back to driver negative. Parallel wiring causes current hogging: the diode with the lowest internal resistance draws excessive current, overheats, fails open, and immediately dumps the entire driver output into the surviving fixtures, destroying them within seconds.
An RF CC dimmable LED driver with AC mains input converts 100-240V AC directly to current-controlled DC, whereas a 48V DC-input unit runs on a remote 48V bus. DC-to-DC step-down drivers like the CXR-21A and CXR-28A are designed for 48V magnetic track lighting systems. Mains models handle the full AC-to-DC conversion in one casing, saving space inside junction boxes and ceiling cavities.
No, because these drivers use high-frequency PWM dimming mapped across 1024 logarithmic levels, eliminating the harsh ripple and optical flutter common in basic dimmers. When dimming raw LED modules or downlights down toward 1%, the current pulse frequency remains well above the refresh rate of standard video cameras and commercial security recording systems. This ensures flicker-free performance and clean dim-to-dark transitions in commercial studios, broadcast rooms, retail storefronts, and high-end residential spaces.
