How to Install & Use This LED Strip

  1. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oils.
  2. Measure and cut the strip at the designated copper cut marks to your desired length.
  3. Peel the backing from the adhesive tape and firmly press the strip onto the prepared surface.
  4. Connect the 3-pin JST connector to a compatible SPI addressable LED controller. Check for correct wiring: +12V, Data (DIN), and Ground (GND). How to Wire Addressable LED Strip Lights?
  5. Connect the controller to an appropriate DC12V power supply. Do not exceed the power supply's wattage capacity.
  6. Power on the system and configure your desired colors and dynamic effects using the controller.

⚠ Precautions
  • Always use a regulated DC12V power supply. Using an incorrect voltage will permanently damage the strip.
  • For a full 5-meter roll running at 100% full-brightness white, voltage drop occurs. For maximum performance in this specific scenario, it is recommended to supply power from both ends of the strip.

Power Consumption Reference

The total power is calculated at full brightness white (which uses the most power). We recommend using a power supply that is at least 20% larger than the strip's total calculated wattage to ensure stability and longevity.
