Product Information

TM1809 is 3 channels individually addressable LED light strip with a single data line. Adopt a new SMD3838 chip, which is different from the ordinary SMD5050 chip.

Currently, we provide two TM1809 individually addressable zig zag light strips. The difference between the two LED strips is:

1. LED quantity is different: FSLRGBS-WS2812-3838X300 is 60LEDs/m. This product is 84LEDs/m, which has a higher brightness than 60LEDs.

2. Different appearance: FSLRGBS-WS2812-3838X300 has an S-shaped appearance, This product is dentate shape.

 

What is the difference between TM1809 led strip light (our products) and WS2812B led strip light?

1. Different package components: TM1809 uses an SMD3838 LED, while WS2812B uses an SMD5050 LED.

2. Input voltage is different: the input voltage of TM1809 is DC12V, the input voltage of WS2812B is DC5V.

3. Different shapes: Does TM1809 adopt S-shaped or dentate-shaped, while WS2812B is an ordinary one.

4. Different flexibility: TM1809 can be bent at will or even folded in half, but WS2812B can only be bent in fix range.

5. Different widths: TM1809 is 6mm ultra-narrow, while WS2812B has a wider range of optional widths.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?
Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights
Do I need power injection?
5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further. Keep the data line short between controller and first pixel. Choosing an addressable LED strip light
