Product Information

RGB LED is composed of three basic colours of red, green and blue. RGB LED can be combined into any colour you want, but it is easy to make people feel bored after watching the colour for a long time. What is better than RGB LED? That is smart RGB + white light LED, white embellishment will bring a visual impact! The Superlightingled NeoPixel stick is now composed of 3 base colours plus white (red, green, blue and warm white/natural white/cool white) for excellent lighting effects. Because the driver chip is located inside the LED, each LED can be addressed, and each LED can be controlled individually so that each addressable RGBW LED presents a different colour. With the remote control, we can program our favourite effects to meet Our desire to create! The three primary colours of each pixel can achieve 256 levels of brightness display, complete the full true colour display of 16,777,216 colours, and the scanning frequency is not less than 400Hz/s. Give full play to your imagination, this pixel lights can meet a large number of your needs. It can be used as an accessory on party clothes, or it can add a lot of colours to your project.

We fill 8 tiny 5050 (5mm x 5mm) smart RGBW LEDs on the PCB board with mounting holes and a chainable design. Only one microcontroller pin can be used to control as many links as possible! And the serial cascade interface can complete data reception and decode through a signal line. Each programmable LED light has a constant current drive of 18mA, so even if the voltage changes, the colour will be highly consistent, and no external resistance is required, which makes the design more compact and slim.

These adafruit neopixel RGBW lights can be simply cascaded from one output pin to another input pin (DI-DO). By cascading this way, only one single pin can be used to control multiple LED lights, microcontrollers such as AVR, Arduino, PIC, embed, etc.

The Neopixel led control circuit and RGBW chip are integrated into a 5050 packaged component to form a complete external control pixel. Built-in signal shaping circuit, any pixel point receives the signal after waveform shaping and then output, to ensure that the line waveform distortion will not accumulate.

The single-wire communication of neopixel lightsaber can minimize the pressure on the I/O port of the single-chip microcomputer. In addition, this RGB lamp uses the SK6812 driver chip so that the peripheral circuit only needs a capacitor to meet the circuit needs, making the circuit as possible. Simple and beautiful, giving people a beautiful enjoyment.

LED Strip Light Guide

Common questions about this type of product, answered against this model’s own options. For full figures see the specification above or the spec sheet for this model.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?
Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights
Do I need power injection?
5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further. Keep the data line short between controller and first pixel. Choosing an addressable LED strip light
Can I cut it to length?
Yes. Cut only on the marked cut lines between the copper pads — the cut interval for this model is on its spec sheet. Rejoin with solder or a solderless connector. Cutting LED strip lights · we can also cut to length and fit your connector before shipping: custom LED strip light assembly.
What size power supply do I need?
Take the watts per metre from the specification above, multiply by the length you are running, then add about 25% headroom. Power calculation guide · Choosing a power supply
