2700K Warm White LED Strip

Think of a 2700K LED strip light as the color of a classic incandescent bulb or sunset — it has a noticeable yellow, cozy warmth. 3000K is still warm white, but it's cleaner with less yellow. For a living room, bedroom, or restaurant where you want people to relax, 2700K is the go-to. Yes, but you have to choose the right model. A 2700K LED tape can be just as bright as a 4000K or 5000K strip — the color temperature doesn't determine the brightness (lumens). For task lighting, look for a high-output strip with at least 1500 lumens per meter (around 450 lm/ft). Our high-density 2835 SMD or COB strips at 2700K are plenty bright for chopping vegetables, you just get a warmer feel while you do it.

For most of our 24V 2700K LED strips, you can expect a maximum continuous run of about 10 meters (32.8ft) before voltage drop becomes noticeable. At the end of a longer run, the strip will look dimmer and might even shift warmer in color. For longer runs, you either need to power the strip from both ends or use one of our 48V LED strips designed for runs up to 60 meters from a single power feed.

For any 2700K LED tape over about 10 watts per meter (3W/ft), it's strongly recommended. The channel acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the LEDs and extending their lifespan. Without it, a high-output strip can overheat, causing the color to shift and the strip to fail prematurely. For low-wattage accent lighting, it's less critical for heat but still great for getting a clean, professional-looking installation.

The best way is to use a Chip-on-Board (COB) strip. COB strips have a continuous line, so they look like a solid line of light with no visible dots, even without a diffuser. If you're using a standard SMD strip, you'll need to pair it with one of our aluminum channels with a deep, frosted diffuser. The deeper the channel, the more space for the light to blend, creating a smoother output.

It's the most popular choice for a traditional, high-end look. 2700K mimics the glow of old gas lanterns and estate-style lighting perfectly, creating a welcoming and luxurious feel. It makes stonework and foliage look warm and inviting. While some modern designs use 3000K for a crisper look, 2700K is the gold standard for classic landscape and architectural accent lighting.
