Surface Mount Corner Channels
42 productsAngled LED channel for corners has a V shape/90-degree shape, shining light at a 30-degree/45-degree/60-degree angle towards under-cabinet, under-counter, under-shelf, or bathroom basin sink areas. Surface mount LED angled aluminum extrusion channel is very easy to install, using screws to secure the clips to the mounting location and then snap the extrusion in. You can add these angled LED channel profiles in any corner location to upgrade your home and commercial lighting.
Our v-shaped LED corner channel offers a diverse selection of sizes ranging from 08*08mm (0.3in*0.3in) to 30*30mm (1.2in*1.2in) to large 85*85mm (3.35in*3.35in), with comprehensive coverage of LED strips from 2mm small to 20mm wide PCB widths, providing the flexibility to adapt to indoor outdoor corner lighting needs of all sizes.

V-Shaped Surface Mount LED Profiles for Corner Lighting
Corners can be difficult places to install LED strips. A standard flat LED aluminum profile is usually designed to sit on one surface, while a corner often requires the light to be positioned at an angle.
At SuperLightingLED, our V-shaped surface mount LED channels are designed to sit neatly in corners and direct the LED strip toward the surrounding surfaces. This creates a more intentional corner lighting effect while allowing the profile to remain externally mounted rather than recessed.
For projects where you want to add linear lighting to a 90° corner, cabinet corner, wall junction or other angled location without cutting a groove, a V-shaped LED profile channel provides a straightforward solution.
A Fast Installation Method for Corners, Cabinets and Furniture
We use mounting clips to secure the aluminum channel to the surface, allowing installers to position the channel directly in the corner and then install the LED strip and diffuser. This makes the system practical for retrofit projects, furniture, cabinets, shelving, wardrobes, and display fixtures.

Mounting clips also make the installation process straightforward and accessible, while the screws or fasteners can be selected according to the actual mounting surface.
We see this as a practical choice when the priority is: Fast installation · Minimal surface modification · Easy positioning · Clean corner lighting
Aluminum vs. Silicone V-Shaped Corner LED Channel
At SuperLightingLED, we offer V-shaped linear aluminum and flex silicone corner mount LED tape light channel solutions for different installation environments and design requirements.
Our aluminum V corner LED channels provide a rigid, structured mounting profile that keeps the LED strip light positioned at a consistent angle. Aluminum also provides a solid housing around the LED strip and can assist with thermal management, depending on the profile and LED output.
We recommend the aluminum version when you need:
- A rigid and well-defined 90° corner LED installation
- A consistent light direction
- A more architectural or finished profile appearance
- Better mechanical support
Our V-shaped silicone LED corner channel diffuser solutions are better suited to applications where flexibility and easy adaptation to the surface are more important.
Unlike rigid aluminum, silicone can adapt more easily to certain curved, irregular or continuously changing surfaces. It can also provide a softer visual appearance.
We recommend a silicone V solution when you need:
- More flexibility around corners or irregular surfaces
- A softer, more integrated appearance
- Easier adaptation to curved or non-rigid applications
Corner LED Lighting: From Under-Cabinet Mounting to Architectural Profiles
Corner LED lighting is most commonly applied as a surface-mounted solution—specifically under kitchen cabinets, inside display cases, wardrobes, or shelving nooks. Looking for other architectural LED corner lighting applications? We also have you covered.
- Architectural Wall Corner Profiles (Plaster-In / Recessed): Recessed and mudded directly into drywall during construction or renovation, creating seamless lines of light along inside and outside wall junctions.
- Ceiling Cornice Lighting Mouldings: Installed at the top perimeter where walls meet the ceiling, ideal for casting soft, indirect ambient light or bright, direct illumination across the room.
Starting with a standard surface-mounted aluminum coener profile light channel is often the easiest LED upgrade, but knowing your exact mounting spot ensures you get the perfect fit for your space.
Frequently Asked Questions About Surface Mount Corner Channels
Got questions before you buy? I've been answering these on the support desk for 12 years. Here are the common ones.
Look at the 'Inner Width' on our spec sheets. That number has to be bigger than the PCB width of your LED strip. For example, if you're using a standard 10mm wide strip, you need a channel with an inner width of at least 10.1mm. Don't just look at the outside dimensions; the inside is what counts for fitting the tape.
That's the number one frustration people have. The 'dotless' look depends on two things: the diffuser's opacity and the distance between the LED strip and the diffuser. A deeper channel or a more opaque (milky) diffuser helps. The best fix, though, is to use a COB or other high-density LED strip with no visible hotspots. Our guide to diffusing LED lights goes into more detail on this.
A V-channel is a simple 90-degree extrusion for task lighting under cabinets or shelves. A corner crown molding profile is a much larger, more decorative piece designed to be installed at the top of a wall, where it meets the ceiling. It hides the LEDs completely and throws light up onto the ceiling (uplighting) or down the wall (wall washing) for architectural effect.
It depends on the job. Aluminum is rigid and provides much better heat dissipation, which is critical for the lifespan of high-power LED strips. Silicone is soft, flexible, and often has better water resistance, making it perfect for irregular corners or damp environments. But for a powerful, main lighting source, I'd stick with an aluminum corner mount led channel every time.
Yes, we do this all the time. Just send us a sketch or a list of the exact lengths you need for your project. An engineer will send back a complete parts list and quote, usually within 12 hours. We can pre-cut the channels and diffusers so they arrive ready to install.
