Product Information

This is a RGBW led strip lighitng controlled by the TM1814 smart IC. It allows each RGBW LED area to be an individual color and brightness. Thus to produce multiple colors on a single RGBW strip.

The RGBW led strip lights have 7 static color modes (red, green, blue, yellow, purple, ice blue and white), and multiple dynamic effects. Since it uses a separate white chip channel, its white color is pure white, unlike RGB white which is bluish or purplish.

The separate white channel also allows mixing with other color channels to create a variety of color effects.

Addressable RGBW strip lights should be controlled by a pixel RGBW controller


Note: the IP65 and IP68 waterproof led strip lights will increase the color temperature of 1000K, so the RGB+3000K will be like the RGB+4000K. You can see the following image, the left is 3000K IP65, the right is IP20.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?
Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights
Do I need power injection?
5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further. Keep the data line short between controller and first pixel. Choosing an addressable LED strip light

Will it fit an aluminium profile, and how dense are the LEDs?
