How does the 2-wire CCT function work?

This strip uses polarity to control color. Connecting positive/negative one way gives you 2700K warm white. Reversing the connections gives you 6500K daylight white. You need a specific controller or switch to do this.

What kind of controller do I need for this LED strip?

You need a controller designed for 2-wire CCT strips that can reverse polarity, or a simple DPDT (Double Pole, Double Throw) switch. A standard dimmer will not be able to change the color temperature.

Can I blend the colors to get 4000K?

No, this strip is designed to switch between 2700K and 6500K. It does not blend the two color temperatures. For blending, you would need a standard 3-wire tunable white LED strip.

Is this a 'Dim to Warm' LED strip?

A New Approach to Tunable White

This is not a standard dim-to-warm or blending CCT LED strip. It operates on a binary switching principle: Polarity A results in 2700K light, while reversing the polarity (Polarity B) results in 6500K light. This requires a controller capable of reversing polarity, such as a DPDT switch or a specialized 2-wire CCT controller.

How to Install & Use This LED Strip

Clean the installation surface to ensure it is dry and free of dust and oils.
Measure and cut the strip at the designated cutting marks. For the 12V version, cut every 10mm; for the 24V version, cut every 20mm.
Peel back the adhesive tape and firmly press the strip onto the prepared surface. For best results, install in an aluminum channel for heat dissipation.
Connect the two wires to a compatible 2-wire CCT controller or a DPDT (Double Pole, Double Throw) switch. This is essential for reversing polarity to change the color temperature.
Connect the controller/switch to an appropriate DC12V or DC24V power supply, ensuring the voltage matches your strip.
