Application Scenarios
Installation Guide
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol to ensure it is free of dust and oils.
- Measure the required length and carefully cut the LED strip along the designated copper cut marks.
- Connect the strip to a compatible 24V power supply and an RGBCCT controller. Ensure polarity (+24V, R, G, B, WW, CW) is correct.
- Power on the strip briefly to test the connection, colors, and controller functions before final installation.
- Peel the backing from the adhesive tape and firmly press the strip onto the clean, dry surface.
- For corners or breaks, use solderless connectors designed for 12mm 6-pin RGBCCT strips or solder wires for the most reliable connection.
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended run length of 5 meters per power feed to avoid voltage drop.
- Ensure your 24V DC power supply has at least 20% wattage headroom over the total load of the strip.
- For outdoor or wet locations, only use the IP65, IP67, or IP68 rated versions and ensure all connections are properly waterproofed.
- Voltage drop will occur on runs longer than 5 meters. For longer installations, power both ends or use parallel wiring.
