WS2818 LED chip is an upgraded version of the WS2811LED chip, as a unique existence in the breakpoint resume series, WS2818 LED adopts an external IC control method and supports DC12V voltage input; the internal LED chip contains a smart digital interface data latch signal shaping amplifier drive circuit, high-precision internal oscillator, 12V high-voltage programmable constant current output driver and high-precision constant current control module.
WS2818 LED strip adopts dual-channel signal transmission (DI and D2), the data line(D1) and backup data line(D2) work together, when one LED is damaged, it will not affect the normal use of other LEDs. The data protocol uses a single-wire return-to-zero code communication method, after the chip is powered on and reset, the DIN terminal receives the data and stores it in the data latch inside the chip, the remaining data is reshaped and amplified by the internal reshaping processing circuit and forwarded to the next pixel, the number of cascaded pixels is only limited by the signal transmission speed requirement.
This product adopts WS2818LED chip, integrated IC and control circuit in SMD5050 LED, the communication and control methods are the same as other WS2818 LED strips, but this LED strip supports DC12V input, 6LEDs can be cut, and one IC controls 6 LEDs; the width of LED strip light is 8mm/0.31in, which can be installed in a narrow space; the LED density is 72LEDs/m, with a good lighting effect, and it is suitable for indoor atmosphere lighting; for outdoor environment use, IP67 waterproof LED strips can be customized, IP67 waterproof LED strip light is wrapped with transparent heat shrinkable tube, which has a good waterproof effect and works well in a rainy outdoor environment, single led with high brightness, so you can use this led strip light to work with 8mm/0.31in PCB Wide LED neon tube.
The back of the addressable LED strip uses high-quality 3M tape, which has good adhesion and adheres to the wall surface without damaging the wall, easy to install; both ends of the LED strip light adopt JST connectors for easy connection to the LED power supply and the dream color LED controller, to achieve 256-level grayscale adjustment and 16 million dynamic effects.

Please do not exceed 80% of Power Supply capacity when calculating Power Supply size to use in your system.
Otherwise it will affect the brightness of the LEDs and the service life of the power supply.
In order to ensure that you use this light strips in the process of the front and behind the light of the same brightness, please supply power at both ends of each roll led strip lights.
How to choose the correct LED power supply?
The power of the LED strip light is 85W/roll, to avoid the power load, the power of the LED power supply must more than 85*1.2=102W.
For indoor environment, you can choose our 96W led power adapter or 100W Mean-Well UL-Listed led power supply.
For outdoor environment, you can choose our DC12V 100W waterproof led power supply.
For several rolls to work together, the best to use Mean-Well UL-Listed led power supply.
