LED neon light strip signs

When you need a specific, consistent color for branding or architectural accents, SuperLightingLED single-color LED neon light signs are the most reliable way to get it. These strips produce a pure, dedicated light—whether it's a specific 3000K soft white, a vibrant red, or a cool blue. This makes them perfect for logo signs, outlining buildings, or any application where color accuracy is non-negotiable. We build our flexible neon sign strips primarily in DC12V and DC24V for most projects, which allows for precise cutting and safer handling.

Custom Static LED Neon Flex Lighting

SuperLightingLED offers more than just basic single-color neon light strips; we can create compatible neon lighting for virtually any strip model or silicone tube model. Please note that some silicone tubes do not have visible cutting marks, which may make cutting difficult. If you need to cut the neon rope LED strips, we recommend choosing from our “free-cut” LED series, such as the White COB or Dual-Color CCT SMD models.

Frequently Asked Questions About Single Color LED Neon Signs

Got a question about getting your project right? I've answered thousands of them. Here are the ones that come up the most.

Great question, because they look similar but are totally different tech. Classic neon signs use electrified gas in a sealed glass tube. Our single color LED neon light signs use a flexible silicone tube with an LED strip light inside. There's no gas, no high-voltage hum, and no fragile glass. You get that beautiful, continuous glow, but it's safer, uses a fraction of the power, and you can cut it and shape it on site.

For the best LED signs, the best LED light color is the one that matches your brand and gets noticed. Pure Red (620-630nm) is fantastic for grabbing attention and has a classic, urgent feel. Bright White (5000K-6000K) looks modern, clean, and professional. Blue is calming and trustworthy. We often see clients use a specific white like 3000K to match interior lighting or a vibrant color to stand out. The key is consistency, which is exactly what these single-color strips are built for.

Most of our low voltage led signs are 24V because it's just more efficient for longer runs. A 24V LED light can typically run twice as far as a 12V one before you see any dimming from voltage drop. For a small sign or a short accent, 12V is perfectly fine. But for outlining a building or a run over 5 meters (about 16 feet), 24V means less wiring, fewer power supplies, and a more consistent brightness from end to end. You'll need the right UL-listed 24V power supplies to match.

That's almost always voltage drop. It happens when you run a low-voltage strip too far from its power source. The longer the strip, the more resistance the electricity has to fight, and it loses a bit of power along the way, making the far end look dim. The fix is to run a second power feed to the far end of the strip or to a point in the middle. We cover all the solutions in our guide to long runs.

You can absolutely cut our single color LED neon strips. They have clearly marked cut lines, usually every 25mm or 50mm. You just use a sharp pair of scissors or a utility knife to cut straight across the line. To reconnect, you'll need the right size connectors for that specific neon profile. You push the pins into the strip's contacts and clamp it shut. For a waterproof seal, you'll need to use silicone sealant. We stock all the right neon flex accessories for each model.

While no specific LED light color meaning is medically proven to cure headaches, some people find warmer colors more relaxing. A soft white (around 2700K-3000K) or a warm amber light can feel less harsh than a stark, cool blue-white. More important than color is the quality of the light. Look for a high CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 90+ and use a high-frequency PWM dimmer to avoid the invisible flicker that can cause eye strain and headaches for sensitive individuals.

This is a fun one. The actual color of the neon element when electrified is a reddish-orange. That's it. To get other colors in old-school glass signs, makers would use different gases (like argon for blue) or coat the inside of the glass tubes. With LED neon, we don't have that problem. We can create any color you want by using LEDs that are manufactured to emit a very specific wavelength of light, from a precise 3000K soft white to a deep, pure green.

Yes, absolutely. A huge part of our business is building custom lighting solutions from our components. Just send us a sketch or even just the dimensions you need. Our engineers will create a wiring diagram, spec out the right neon flex, cut it to your exact length, and solder on the power feeds with waterproof connectors. We'll send you a complete parts list and quote, usually within 12 hours. There's no fee for the consultation and no obligation to order. This is how many of the best led signs get their perfect fit.
