SK6812 RGB 60LEDS/M DC12V 10MM-Wide Digital Intelligent Addressable LED Strip Lights - 5m/16.4ft per roll

This built-in one-to-three SK6812 IC strip currently has no PCB inventory available. A minimum order quantity of 300 meters is required, plus a $100 customization fee. We recommend checking our 12V individually addressable model as an alternative. Or consider the similar RGBW model. 

There are 60 Addressable RGB LEDs per meter,  and 10mm wide for the 60LEDs/meter, DC 12V input, and every 3 LEDs can be cut! Yes, that's right, this is the digitally addressable type of LED strip. You can set the color of each LED's red, green, and blue component with 8-bit PWM precision (so 24-bit color per pixel). This strip comes as a single full meter with a 3-pin JST SM connector on each end. To power this strip, you need a 12V power supply.  

The LEDs are controlled by shift registers that are chained up down the strip so you can shorten or lengthen the strip. Only 1 digital output pin is required to send data down. The PWM is built into each LED chip so once you set the color you can stop talking to the strip and it will continue to PWM all the LEDs for you.

The SK6812 is very similar to the WS2812B, and it can be used as a drop-in replacement in most applications because it features the same interface and color order (so LED strips based on the SK6812 and WS2812B can be chained together). The main difference between the two drivers is that the SK6812 has voltage-independent color and brightness over a wide voltage range, which means that the colors of the LEDs should not be affected by a drop in the supply voltage as much as they are on the WS2812B.
