Technical Highlights
- Voltage Drop Characteristics: This edge-lit WS2811F RGB COB strip exhibits minimal voltage drop on pure Red, Green, and Blue channels. However, for mixed colors (like white, yellow, cyan), voltage drop causes incorrect colors in the end of the 5 meters. For perfect color consistency across the entire reel when using mixed colors, we strongly recommend injecting power at both the start and end of the strip.

Application Scenarios
How to Install & Use This LED Strip
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean.
- Measure the required length and carefully cut the strip at the designated copper cut marks.
- Connect the strip to a compatible 12V WS2811 controller and a correctly sized 12V DC power supply. For 5m runs using mixed colors, connect power to both ends.
- Temporarily power on the strip to test the connection, color sequence, and controller function before final installation.
- Peel the backing from the adhesive tape and firmly press the strip onto the surface for 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
- Ensure your power supply wattage is at least 20% greater than the strip's total power consumption (5m x 12W/m = 60W, so use a 75W or higher PSU).
- Ensure adequate ventilation to dissipate heat and prolong the life of the LEDs, especially in enclosed installations.
