The FSLCOB-12V-WS2812BX160 delivers true dotless linear illumination in an ultra-narrow 5mm PCB form factor. Operating on DC 12V power, this addressable cob rgb led strip packs 160 individual WS2812B ICs and 160 LED emitters per meter (800 pixels across each 16.4ft / 5-meter reel). Each diode acts as an independent pixel, giving designers complete single-pixel control for chasing, gradient pulsing, and pixel-mapped graphics without the hot spots of traditional SMD tape.
Engineered 12V circuit maintains uniform color and lumen output across the full 5m run. Pair this strip with any standard SPI LED controller to orchestrate 16.7 million dynamic colors across vehicles, boats, tight architectural millwork, or micro aluminum profiles. For wet locations or marine installations, select the IP67 heat-shrink option.

Application Scenarios
How to Install & Use This LED Strip
- Cut only along designated copper solder pad cut marks if length adjustment is needed. Reseal any cut edges with silicone sealant and end caps on IP67 versions.
- Connect the 3-pin JST-SM input plug to your digital SPI controller, verifying that +12V, Data In (DI), and Ground (GND) match the controller terminals. The power cords on the output side must not come into contact with each other, as this could cause a short circuit.
- Apply DC 12V power from an LED driver sized for at least 60W per 5-meter run to allow a 20% operating safety margin.
- When installing multiple 5-meter reels, wire all DC12V power inputs in parallel back to the power supply to prevent voltage drop and maintain balanced pixel brightness across long distances.
⚠ Precautions
- For continuous runs exceeding 5 meters, inject 12V DC power at every 5m juncture using the attached 2-conductor power leads.
