A professionally installed snake LED strip should last about 50,000 hours. The two biggest enemies of an LED are heat and incorrect voltage. As long as the strip is powered by a stable, correct-voltage driver and isn't sealed in a completely airtight box with no heat dissipation, it will run reliably for years. Almost all early failures we see are due to power supply issues.

The adhesive on the back of the cobra strip is excellent for getting it positioned perfectly. But for a commercial sign that's going to live through hot and cold cycles for years, never rely on adhesive alone.
