Application Scenarios
How to Install & Use This LED Strip
- Clean the installation surface to ensure it is dry and free of dust or oils.
- Cut the strip at the designated copper cut marks if a shorter length is needed.
- Peel the backing from the 3M adhesive tape and firmly press the strip onto the surface.
- Connect the 3-pin JST connector to your addressable LED controller. Ensure the Data, V+, and GND lines are correctly matched.
- Connect the appropriate 5V or 12V power supply to your controller and the strip. See our guide for more details: How to Wire Addressable LED Strip Lights?
- Power on the system and configure your controller to generate lighting effects.
- Always use a power supply that matches the strip's voltage (5V or 12V). Using the wrong voltage will permanently damage the strip.
- Power injection may be required for long runs to prevent voltage drop and color shifting at the end of the strip.
