This SK6812 addressable RGB LED strip packs an incredible 144 mini 3535 SMD LEDs into each meter on an ultra-narrow 7mm wide PCB. This high-density design is perfect for creating seamless color gradients and intricate visual displays in tight channels, slim profiles, or complex shapes. Operating on DC 5V, each LED is individually addressable, giving you pixel-perfect control over 24-bit color for stunning 'dream color' effects.
Similar to the popular WS2812B, the SK6812 IC offers the same control interface but with improved color and brightness stability across a wider voltage range, making it a robust choice for professional installations. You can control this strip with a wide variety of microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, or dedicated SPI controller. Each strip includes 3-pin JST-SM connectors for easy linking, though for longer runs, power injection is recommended. To get started, you'll need a suitable 5V power supply.

How to Install & Use This LED Strip
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oils.
- Measure and cut the strip at the designated copper cut lines between LEDs if a shorter length is needed.
- Peel the backing from the 3M adhesive and press the strip firmly onto the surface.
- Connect the 3-pin JST connector to your controller's 5V, GND, and Data output. Ensure the data direction matches the arrows on the strip.
- Connect a DC 5V power supply to your controller and/or the strip's power input wires. For long runs, inject power at both ends or every few meters to prevent voltage drop.
- Power on and use your controller's software or app to program your desired colors and effects.

- Always use a regulated DC 5V power supply. Applying more than 5V will destroy the strip.
- The IP20 version is for indoor, dry locations only. The IP67 version is protected against water splashes but is not for permanent underwater submersion.
- For long continuous runs, voltage drop can cause color and brightness shifts at the far end. Plan for power injection every 1-2 meters for optimal performance.
- The strip can get warm, especially at high brightness. Ensure adequate ventilation or mount in an aluminum channel for heat dissipation.
