Full Spectrum LED Light Strips
14 productsThe Full Spectrum LED Strip Series represents a premium upgrade of our Static White collection and engineered for discerning lighting designers and high-end projects. It is the ultimate choice when your LED project demands uncompromised color accuracy, enhanced visual comfort, and a healthier indoor lighting environment.
What does Full Spectrum LED Strip mean?
When many users hear the term "Full Spectrum," they often assume it refers to purple-hued plant grow lights or dynamic, multi-color changing RGB effects.
At SuperLightingLED, full spectrum led strip has a super high color rendering index (CRI), Ra up to 98, which can best reproduce the color of objects in natural light/sunlight, ideal for photography, supplemental light for plants and aquariums, and so on.
LED full spectrum lighting contains more comprehensive color components, including near UV light, blue light, green light, red light, infrared light, etc., which is closer to natural light in spectral distribution. And full spectrum LED strip light has a certain positive impact on improving mood and mental health, can be used as light therapy for sad and seasonal depression.

Frequently Asked Questions About Full Spectrum LED Light Strips
Got a question before you buy? We've probably answered it here. If not, our engineering desk is always open.
The main difference is the completeness of the color spectrum. Natural sunlight is the benchmark, a smooth curve of all colors. Most standard artificial LED light has spikes and gaps, especially in the cyan and deep-red ranges, which makes things look flat or 'off'. Our full spectrum LED light strips use special phosphors to fill in those gaps, producing a high CRI light that renders colors far more accurately, much closer to how they'd look outdoors.
Think of a black body as a theoretical perfect object that, when heated, glows through a predictable sequence of colors—from red to orange to yellow to white to bluish-white. This predictable light is the 'black body spectrum' and it's the reference standard for color temperature. CRI, or Color Rendering Index, measures how accurately a light source like our full spectrum strips can reveal colors compared to that perfect reference. A CRI of 98 means it's extremely close to perfect.
For a garage or hallway, maybe not. But for any space where color matters—a kitchen with stone countertops, a retail display, an art studio, or for photography—the difference is night and day. High CRI, especially with a high R9 value for deep reds, makes skin tones look healthy, food look appetizing, and textiles show their true hue. A CRI 90 strip is good; a CRI 98 strip is true-to-life.
This is a great application for these strips. The best way to fake natural light is to use one of our tunable white strips with a CRI of 95 or higher. You can pair it with a smart controller to automatically shift the color temperature throughout the day, from a warm 2700K in the morning to a crisp 6000K at midday and back down in the evening. Installing it inside a channel with a frosted diffuser will soften the light and complete the effect.
That's a common mix-up, but no. Our full spectrum white strips are designed for human vision and excellent color rendering (high CRI). They mimic sunlight. Plant grow lights are very different; they use specific wavelengths of blue and red light that are optimal for photosynthesis, which is why they usually have a distinct purple or pink glow. While plants might grow under our strips, a dedicated grow light is much more effective for horticulture.
You can expect a lifespan of 50,000 hours before the strip dims to 70% of its original brightness (that's the L70 rating). The color rendering quality is very stable over that lifetime, provided you manage heat properly. Heat is the number one enemy of LEDs. As long as you run the strip on the correct voltage and mount it in an aluminum channel to dissipate heat, it will give you consistent, high-quality light for years.
Absolutely. A large part of what we ship is built to customer drawings and never appears on the website. Send us your project needs—a CAD file, a photo of a sketch, or just a description is fine. We can cut strips to the precise millimeter, pre-solder any lead wires and connectors you need, and even source a specific CCT bin for perfect color consistency across a large installation. An engineer will send back a full parts list and quote, usually the same business day and always within 12 hours. There's no fee for the consultation and no obligation to order.
