The SMD3528 illuminated 850nm LED strip is a flexible, linear infrared light source. This NIR light strip features a linear array of low-power 850nm LEDs, preventing uneven light spots or overexposure issues. It ensures uniform light distribution within critical areas—such as surveillance camera fields of view or localized human treatment zones—while minimizing energy waste.
In surveillance night vision systems, 850nm and 940nm infrared light strips supplement environments with insufficient visible light, providing invisible illumination to activate night vision cameras' IR-sensitive sensors. The strip's uniform illumination ensures light covers focal points within monitored areas—such as doors, windows, passageways, or vehicle paths—rather than flooding the entire space, preventing light pollution or exposing light source locations. Compared to infrared panel light sources, infrared light strips minimize hotspots and shadows, ensuring cameras capture clear images.
♦ 850nm wavelength: This near-infrared light appears as a faint red glow in night vision devices (visible to the naked eye but not blinding).
♦ 940nm wavelength: Completely invisible (invisible to the naked eye), ideal for high-stealth applications such as high-end security or wildlife monitoring.
• PCB board width is 8mm, with 600pcs 3528SMD LED chips, apply for narrow places night version and light therapy LED lighting.
• DC12(24)V safe voltage, every 3(6) LEDs can be cut, convenient to get the length of the strips you need and do not damage the LED light.
• With 3M adhesive backing tape, can install the lights the places you prefer.
• The 850nm IR LED strips emit virtually invisible light to naked eye (red dot). The light emitted by 940-nanometer infrared LED strips is completely invisible to the naked eye.
