Product Information

12V SK6812 RGBW addressable LED strip features a black color PCB for easier integration into black or gray backgrounds. Compared to RGB color, RGBW has additional white light, allowing for a richer mix of colors and emission of pure white light. Currently, only 4000K natural white light is in stock.

The SK6812 12V LED strip is equipped with 96pcs 5050 SMD LED beads per meter, controlled by 32pcs SK6812 IC pixels. Each IC manages three lamp beads, ensuring precise color control. SK6812 chip is integrated into the first lamp bead. Each 31.24mm/1.23in can be cut with scissors to determine the length freely. If a higher density is required, a 120-LED version is available to provide a smoother color-changing effect.

An addressable controller is required to freely adjust the brightness and color. This SK6812 RGBW strip is equipped with JST-SM connectors at both ends, with extra red and black bare wires at one end for easy connection to the 12V power supply. Adhesive backing design makes installation very easy.

Need more uniform lighting without light spots? Install this addressable black LED strip into an aluminum channel. The width of this programmable strip is 12mm/0.47in and requires an aluminum channel with an inner width wider than 12mm/0.47in.

We offer different waterproof ratings for indoor, outdoor, and underwater environments for stable long-term operation.

SK6812 VS WS2812B 

The SK6812 is very similar to the WS2812B, and it can be used as a drop-in replacement in most applications because it features the same interface and color order (so pixel LED strips based on the SK6812 and WS2812B can be chained together).

The main difference between the two drivers is that the SK6812 has voltage-independent color and brightness over a wide voltage range, which means that the colors of the pixel LEDs should not be affected by a drop in the supply voltage as much as they are on the WS2812B.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?
Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights
Do I need power injection?
