The difference between WS2811 LED strip and WS2812B LED strip
Different voltages: WS2811 addressable LED light strip voltage has many options: 5/12/24V. WS2812B addressable LED strip light voltage currently only has the DC5V option.
The voltage drop is related to the length of the light strip and voltage options. The smaller the voltage, the longer the distance, and the greater the voltage drop. Therefore, WS2811 can be customized for ultra-long addressable light strips, LED neon lights.
IC location is different: WS2811 and ws2812 mostly use SMD5050 package components, but the IC location is different. WS2811 is an external IC; WS2812B is an internal IC.
IC quantity is different, WS2811: DC5V individually addressable, one LED and one IC DC12V: three LEDs and one IC DC24V: six LEDs and one IC; WS2812B is an individually addressable LED strip, one LED and one IC
